Bought this unit to connect to the MagicJack. Works great and looks great. Two story home and the distance from the base unit is negligible. Satellite units work fine. Love the touch pad technology. Sleek, futuristic look. You just need to wipe the touch pad surface with a lint free cloth. No big deal.

The purpose the Base phone was purchased was mainly the speaker phone capability, however the price was better than most competitors. Regarding the optional handsets, (we have 4), the price was exceptional. One handset on my old system (a 2.4 Ghz) cost more than the 4 VTech's (6.0 Ghz) combined. Has all the bells and whistles we will ever use. The only draw back was the "unlock" feature, until we learned how to turn it off.

We wanted to get rid of our land line and use a cell phone for our home line. Someone at verizon suggested the Vtech phone as one that featured bluetooth, so we tried it. Unfortunately, when we went to compare phone there were only two that we found that had this feature;Vtech and AT&T. Both, unfortunately, come with an answering maching which will not work unless you have a land-line as well. The phone seemed to work ok on the receiving end, but not for the guest on the other line. The sound quality was very poor and the farther away from the base phone (cell) that you went the sound beca,me garbled and very hard to hear. We have since switch over to the AT&T phone, which is better;however, you still have to pay for the answering machine function even though it will not work. It would be great if they could improve on the bluetooth feature for individuals like myself who want to get rid of their land line and the expense, but want to have multiple phone in a household.

The sexiest phone I've ever had. I am about to re-order this phone after this review. Had it for 2 years and absolutley love the look and functions. Have had so many compliments given when guest use it. Who ever heard of someone complimenting your house phone. lol My 9 mos old baby somehow removed the battery cover and ripped the battery out of the phone and damaged the wires, so R.I.P phone. But thats why I am here.....to re-order it. Great product

The phones have a very modern look, but for the price, they should work much better. The feedback in the handsets AND the base is excessively loud and competes with the person speaking on the other end. I thought it was my phone line at first, but I switched phones, and there was no feedback at all. Looks good, operates otherwise good, but what's the point in having the phone if the sound quality is no good? Save your money or find another phone system.

Great phone and I would purchase it again. Easy to use, Bluetooth works as advertised and it is very stylish.

Overall a nice looking phone. The only downside is that there is no backlight on the BASE. Unable to see BASE keypad in the dark. Also, your fingerprint will be all over the phone, that’s why they provide a cleaning cloth…you will be constantly wiping/cleaning your fingerprints from the phone.

Problem: "SEARCHING FOR BASE" message on additional handsets (2) Solution: Return to Best Buy I followed the directions in the manual, went online and found the same information in the manuals. Reset the phones by removing batteries and unplugging power, deregistered the handsets, nothing worked. I called VTECH support to troubleshoot the problem of adding additional handsets and was instructed to return them to Best Buy since they couldn't figure out what was causing the issue. They gave the following possible reasons: Software defect Already registered to another base Hmmm I wonder if I will have to pay shipping costs for the replacement units...

Great phone, if I had another bedroom in my apt, I'd definitely buy another expansion. Gorgeous phone.

looks great, very clear, blootooth is easy to use adn set and price/value
