I had read a bad review about the battery life on this phone and almost didn't buy it. While my wife and I were at the store we both liked the look and feel so much we decided to give it a try anyway. The last several times we purchased new cordless phones we had to exchange them 3 or 4 times before we found one that worked good enough so why not give it a try. Because of the bad review on battery life the first thing I did after letting them charge for 24 hours was take one off the charger and let it sit on the table for 38 hours. I then called a local info line where I could listen to a recoreded message that played over and over again. I switched the phone to speaker (and that uses battery power faster than normal use) and listened to the message for over two hours while I worked on my computer. After 38 hours off the charger and 2 hours on the speaker phone I still had 2 bars on the 3 bar charge indicator. The sound quality has been great, I have enven had people tell me how much better it sounds than my old phone. I have not had any connection problems and I have not had any static at all. When I first used the phones I had to turn up the volume but once it was set it has stayed right where I like it. I like a number of the features, deleting the calls on one phone clears them on all the phones (not all phones do that), it works well with my phone company voicemail (I know this has a built in answering machine but my kid is at the age where he is on the phone all the time and I like people being able to leave messages rather than get a busy signal). The range is fantastic, better than any phone I have had. I live in the country so I have a big lot 330' x 330'. I walked the entire property line and never dropped the call or had any static. The furthest I walked from my house was about 250' (guess by pacing it off) and the phone worked great. Mind you all my trees are on the edge of my lot so it's really wide open with no overhead lines or other obstructions, but my last few phones couldn't go any where near that distance. All in all this is the best cordless phone I have ever had and I've been buying cordless phones for over 20 years. Both my wife and I love it and have no complaints about them at all.

I don't usually write reviews but lately I have been influnced by the reviews written by others. So I decided I should contribute and maybe help someone else. This is a great phone. The pro's out way the con's. It is light weight and has great sound clairity. The digital screen is so easy to read I don't have to find my glasses to see who is calling. I love the phone finding feature. I have used it several times and it's nice and loud. the con's: The speaker is right where you hold the phone so you must be careful or you'll muffle the caller.It would also be nice if it had mor ringer options and a louder ring. So when you add it up you will get a great phone! We like ours so much we're thinking Christmas gifts! Enjoy!

Very cool phones for the money. We replaced an older vtech system we had. This one is so much better. We live in a three level apartment. There's a phone on every floor with no problem whatsoever with range, sound or reception.

Overall, I like the phone. It looks good, and it sounds good, and setup is not too very obtuse. I am disappointed, however, that the system doesn't have a battery backup to maintain the date and time in case of a power outage. I moved the base from where I was doing the setup to where it will be used and was surprised that I had to reprogram the date and time. Also, You (or at least, "I") have to be very careful when replacing a handset into the cradle, or it doesn't sit in and drops to the floor. On the other hand, I can give it high marks for passing inadvertent drop tests.

I like the slender design. I don't like it doesn't have an answer machine built in it, but other wise a good deal. Range is good, but the pitch is high even when the volume is turned down. For the price I would recommend it.

Have had phone for several months and really have nothing bad to say about it. Very clear, good range, and a great design.

I've had my phones for over a year and they are still working perfectly..... even through the summer when I would tote one out to the pool and it would sit in hot sun (and take an occasional splash). The clarity is excellent even on speaker. The range is astounding-- I can walk across the street to my neighbor's back yard and still be connected. I've nothing negative to say about this phone!

I needed a good house phone so I decide to get this phone. biggest mistake of my life. It battery life is short. frankly just don't buy this phone you will regret it.

Irritating beep that can be heard even when the fon is on silent and wakes you up and has fewer ringtones to choose from.

Great Phone. In past had Uniden, Panasonic and Motorola. No big complains on Uniden. Liked it. Panasonic was ok. Motorola - deliver battery life. This one is a clear winner. Had been using for 6 months now. surprised to see some comments on battery life. not sure if this is a batch problem. The one i have is awesome battery life

Only knock is the phone is very thin and takes a little bit of getting use to but once you do its fine.

THIS PHONE IS TERRIBLE WHEN YOU HAVE AN INCOMING CALL AND YOU ANSWER YOU CANT HEAR THE PERSON ON THE PHONE I HAD TO KEEP SAYING HELLO, EVEN WHEN I USE THE SPEAKER. WHEN YOU MAKE A CALL SOMETIMES IT DOESN'T CONNECT.
