    V-Tech = good quality

We just finished 9 years with another V-Tech and loved it. It was also an expandable phone system. Chose this one based off of consumer reviews and so far it has provided what it advertised. Sound quality is very good, it is fairly easy to set up and use, I love the intercom feature for finding a misplaced phone or locating someone elsewhere in the house and when you save a number in your memory it saves for all the phones - not just that handset. We expect to appreciate this phone for nine years+ on its own.

    Terrific phone

Someone spent the time to figure out what makes a phone enjoyable to use. Aside for excellent volume and voice clarity, the feel and size of the buttons is just right, the redial and call logs are easy to get to, the directory is easy to set up, and battery life is far more than I would have expected. Least important, but a plus, is the simple and sleek design. A weird complaint--but this would apply to most of the newer phones I saw--is the phone's thinness, which makes it hard to hold it to your ear with your shoulder. A recommendation for future models would be an earphone jack and possilbly a clip. But it does have a very effective speakerphone, so really the above is a quibble. A phone being an ordinary household object to which you don't give much thought, I can't ever remember saying to myself every time I use a phone, "I really like this phone," until now.

    A nice upgrade

Wanted to upgrade my last phone. This phone is slim, stylish, good sound quality, good range. One little detail that kind of bugs me: can't customize screen name. It reads out either Handset 1 or Handset 2. Can't erase it, or replace it with a custom setting as I could do on my previous older model. (Told you it was a little, nit picky thing)...Overall a great phone for the money.

    Amazing battery life

I'm simply amazed at the battery life of the phone for it's tiny size. I talk for atleast 3-4hours at a stretch with my fiance who is long distance at the moment. After talking for that long a stretch, the 3-bars of the battery do not reduce by even ONE! And the physical size of the battery is very tiny, so initially I thought oh great, I'm going to have to charge this sucker every chance I get. But I was pleasantly surprised when I can go 2 days without the phone touching the charging base. Impressive! Very impressed also with the stylish design and sleek, thin shape of the handset. 5-stars all the way!

    V TEch Cordless 2 Unit - A Good product

We are very please d with the 2 set product without digital answering. We have the product in 2 homes, and it works flawlessly, despite presence of WIFI and lots of remote digital controls. Thunder/lightning don't seem to affect quality of sound.

    People can't hear me

Overall, I like the design of the phone and the two set system. But I have been dissappointed that people can't hear me on the other end. For $60 I would expect these to work. I have to speak very loudly directly into the mouthpiece. The volume on my end however is good and the speaker is good. I use this for business calls, so it is a must that people can hear me clearly on the other end.

    this cordless phone sucks

Doesn't redial blocked outgoing calls, you have to dial it all over again which is very annoying and doesn't store the outgoing calls you make. So you have to dial them all over again if the last call is not a blocked outgoing call. The phone is very uncomfortable to use. The look of the sleekness is nice. That's the only good thing about it. If you get a voicemail, you have to call your phone provider to check it because there is no easy access to check your voicemail on the phone or on the main phone stand. I want to exchange for a Panasonic phone. Hope they will let me exchange it because it's been more then 30 days.

I bought this unit to use with MagicJack, it works fine. I haven't had it long enough to have had any problems. Sound quality is very good and the range is fine, as well.

Purchased a similar Vtech phone before. This phone is the best in quality, sound, set up & ease of use. No lose of signal no matter where I go throughout the house.

    Can you repeat that

I've had this phone for almost a year now and it's getting to me. I'm ready to return it to BB and upgrade. "This phone looks cool, but the sound is not consistent or clear. I absolutely HATE how people can never hear me because the phone curves slightly away from your face when it's flush to your ear, and curves away from your ear when you speak in it clearly. The volume does not get loud enough, and since I don't talk to obnoxiously loud people on a regular basis that's a problem for me. I don't like the way you have to visit the menu screen to clear your caller list, and I absolutely hate that there's a speaker on the back of the handset RIGHT WHERE your hand would go. Also, I've forgotten how great it is to put a phone down and it still be in use.

These phones are great. I have had them for about 3 weeks. Slim sylish design. and different ring tones(not on old phones). Great clarity. Good buy for money. I was leary purchasing sight unseen but wasn't disappointed at all. Although I won't need 12 phones(apt.),lol I am going to get another one. Haven't tested range and durability yet.

Phones are iffy as is the support.

We heard some great offerings from this company. However we were not happy about the plastic handsets that make you feel like you a kid again talking into a cup! It didn't take too long for the handsets to lock up. Upon calling support we found they want us to ship the our phones to them at our costs. Reviewing their sit we found hundreds of other users who shipped back their phones and the we lost in the company support abyss. In the end, we tossed their junk in the trash and bought a new phone that was cheaper and WAY BETTER than the VTech abyss. When it comes to VTech, don't fall into their abyss. check out Panisonic or Uniden instead.

this phone system offers a nice solution to having a multiple line cordless phone with modern looks and features. However, I find myself having to listen to my callers over the speaker phone. A. because the phone is uncomfortable to hold and B. because the sound from the reciever speaker is weak.

My older cordless phones had reached the end of their life so it was time to buy a new set. I purchased this set as it was recommended by a friend and received good reviews on the Best Buy web site. I'm really pleased with it! It came with 2 handsets. The profile is very sleek and the lighted key pad is great for nighttime dialing. Love this phone!

    Didn't Work From Day One.

I thought I was upgrading to a nice, sleek phone when I purchased this set but from the start the sound quality was off and the 2 remote units in our living room and 2nd bedroom would simply lose contact with the base phone and frequently required me to remove the battery and reboot the handset to make a new connection. Eventually the whole thing ended up in the garbage and I went for a new Panasonic which works perfectly.

The main reason I bought this phone was because it is on a different frequency than my internet router. Everytime we got a call on our old phone, the internet connection was disrupted on our laptop. I am very pleased with my purchase.

I'm very pleased, the set up was so simple. I love that when you enter a number on the main handset it is recorded on all other handsets.
