Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was skeptical at first, I know some people who have GoPros and was leaning towards shelling out some good money and getting one as well. We primarily wanted to film our little one taking their first dips into the swimming pool and researched the whole gamut, from placing a smartphone into a watertight zip bag to the high end GoPro. But for an item that costs 1/10 the price of a GoPro it certainly does not feel like just 10% of a camera next to a GoPro. This little item is a beast of a value! I was pleasantly surprised how well the video quality was, especially when underwater. It floats too! The still photos quality were so-so, but make sure you use this outdoors with plenty of light and the quality will shoot way up. The interface is incredibly easy, very fast initial setup and we were off and filming in very little time from out of the box. Good battery life, small tidy size even when enclosed in the waterproof case and the overall fit and finish of the product just makes this a very good purchase for the money. And really the best thing about this camera is that it is so kid friendly and intelligently simple. I can hand it off to my child in a few years and they will have their own little hobby cam to play and explore with. Imagine doing that with a GoPro, I THINK NOT!
