A Better Bamboo
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wore out my last tablet. That is to say the grip on the stylus started to devolve into a sticky glue like substance. At first I thought it was dirty (unlikely) but the more I cleaned it the worse it became. Needless to say I was rather irritated that I was forced to buy a new tablet because I could not buy a new stylus. (waacom no longer had them). This one was only 50 more than the medium bamboo, but it is much better. Not only is it wireless but the stylus is much better and you can buy a variety of replacement stylus (air brush stylus for example) They are not cheap (100+) but if you ever took one apart you will see the stylus has some pretty impressive circuitry and induction coils inside. Plus its surface it touch sensitive so you can use it as one huge track pad. It seems to hold a pretty good charge. It is not all that heavy in case you want to doodle like you would with a clip board. It uses a "Mini" usb to charge not a micro which means it is only my second device to use one. Most devices use "Micro". This comes with a charging cord so its not that big a deal (I have tons of micro usb cords, just not that many mini) Overall it has some good weight but not to heavy for me. It seems stiff like a clipboard, so I don't worry to much of it twisting apart over extended use.

Very nice product
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this to use with a 27" iMac monitor. Everything I read suggested that this was the optimum size tablet for that monitor. I wonder if I could have used the next size down, but I'm not really used to the product yet. I want to use it with Photoshop and Lightroom, but it is going to take a little bit of time for me to figure out how to do everything I want to with it. Installation was very easy and it came with several free software downloads.

Great Product but hard to register
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this for my girlfriend as a present to get her back into drawing again. She loves how responsive it is and the touch sensitivity for drawing. She just had a problem registering the product on Wacom's website to receive the free software that came with it. After about an hour she was able to get the website to work right. I give a 4 just because it's not cool to offer free software and make it super difficult to actual get it.

Great Tablet, Great Upgrade
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall, a definite upgrade from the last tablet that was being used. More responsive, and feels very precise. (The pen has a great feel to it while in use, and the variety of included stylus nibs provide a lot of variation). Like a lot of people say, the power port feels a little bit loose, and the adapter is able to jiggle a bit, but all this requires is a bit of care in order not to bump it or jostle it too much.

Great tablet for beginners and professional use
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I originally chose this tablet because I needed it for an advanced graphic design class, and it was a good size and had the express keys. Not using a tablet before I was going off peoples suggestions and people who had them. This tablet turned out to be perfect. Wacom lives up to its reputation. Its super easy to use, and the express keys make everything so much more efficient. Especially the shortcut/button to zoom in and out and scroll. Saves a lot of time avoiding toggling back and forth from the keyboard to the tablet. The size is about the size of a piece of regular paper giving me plenty of space to move freely with my illustrations. It feels so natural drawing on this tablet, it hardly took any time to adjust.

Awesome product with one drawback
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am an illustrator and Wacom tablets are the best tablets (and the most expensive) in the industry. My last Wacom was an intuos three and I had it for many years before I ran into compatibility issues with Photoshop. The one issue I have with the tablet is the USB cable connector on the tablet. The cable fit is to loose and with constant movement will eventually damage the tablet. This is a known issue with intuos 5 and there are workarounds. I used electrical tape to improve the fit but Wacom should do a better job at designing. The touch feature is great and I like the redesign of the express keys and ring. I would give it a 4.5 for the design flaw. Still the best brand out there.

A bit too big...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Tablet works great. Goes very well with Photoshop but it is just a little bit too big for my small desk. Went with the small version in the end... If you have the room, this is still a great product.

Pros need this
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I read the reviews before purchasing this item as a Christmas gift for my college student who is a photo film and art major. She hasn't put it down since I presented it to her.

Great Tablet for artist and photographers
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My wife and I have owned half a dozen Wacom tablets going all the way back to the serial port models from the 90's. This latest version is no disappointment. If you are using a mouse while working in Lightroom or Photoshop, a Wacom tablet will be a breath of fresh air and make all those struggles trying to draw or select with a mouse a real pleasure. My only complaint is that the tablet drivers tend to fail every once in a while and I have to reboot my computer. From what I researched, this problem is not entirely uncommon but there is no clear solution and Wacom support while helpful, wasn't able to correct the problem on my computer. The issue may not even be Wacom's fault. It's only a minor issue and would not affect my decision to purchase another Wacom in the future.

Love this tablet!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really thought I needed a large, but the medium is perfect. Bigger than my medium Bamboo tablet, and the sensitivity is MUCH better. Would recommend this to anyone that works with graphics, or even illustration.

Great touch response
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I like the fact that the tablet is touch activated as well as with the stylus and that you can deactivate the touch when you want. It is a bit pricy but I have found it to be very useful in designing.

Great Touch Tablet and Pen
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This professional pen and tablet is as good if not better than the tablets used in the graphics design department where I work. I am very happy with this purchase.

Love It!!!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I received this as a gift and I couldn't be happier with it. I work with Photoshop for a living and have never owned one of these before. I can't believe what I was missing out on. It makes photo editing so much easier than fighting with the mouse. Minute details and editing can easily be handled with the stylus. The wireless connection worked perfectly with my computer and it easily and accurately tracks every movement of the stylus. There is no weird lag during it's use.

Highly sensitive and responsive
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this item primarily to alter/modify drawings and photographs. The tablet itself is extremely responsive and sensitive to the provided stylus. I have no background in graphic arts, but am learning how to improve my own drawings and photographs by manipulating them on this pad. It gives me the ability to experiment with colors and textures easily. With the included software, you can get started right away!.

amazing tablet.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this to edit photos. I use it with Photo Shop. It is so easy to use and makes editing photos a snap. I have the medium size, which is a good size. You might consider the large if you are going to use dual screens.
