I received this as a gift and I couldn't be happier with it. I work with Photoshop for a living and have never owned one of these before. I can't believe what I was missing out on. It makes photo editing so much easier than fighting with the mouse. Minute details and editing can easily be handled with the stylus. The wireless connection worked perfectly with my computer and it easily and accurately tracks every movement of the stylus. There is no weird lag during it's use.

Great product! Don't waste your money on the cheaper drawing tablets, this is simply the best. I purchased the medium Wacom tablet and I was happily surprised by the generous size. I think the large tablet would be too large and excessive for most users. The only issue I had is that the process of registering the tablet on the Wacom.com site seemed to me to be too much work.

    Great tablet for digital art

This tablet has everything my 15 year old son needs to make his art pieces look exactly as he imagines them. As a scholastic art and writing gold medalist he is able to use this tablet to add more details to all his pieces within Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash and In-design. My son actually has two of these in the event something were to go wrong with one. It's worth every penny if you are serious about digital art and will actually use it at least thrice a week.

Refined tablet for heavy-duty Photoshop work

The Wacom Intuos 5 Pro is the latest digitizing tablet out on the market - and possibly the best version so far. I've been a fan of Wacom for a decade - I use a tablet everyday for processing photos (I am a commercial photographer). The one-side design is greatly inproved over the earlier Wacom models that offered buttons on both the left and right. Wacom now has a Radial menu, which gives you access to Brushes, Pen tools and even Photoshop actions with a one-button access. Fast and easy! I recently processed over 500 catalog images with the Wacom Intuos 5 and found I could save more than 30% of the time it took with the earlier Intuos tablet - so, the new tablet bought itself in about 2 days.

    A Better Bamboo

I wore out my last tablet. That is to say the grip on the stylus started to devolve into a sticky glue like substance. At first I thought it was dirty (unlikely) but the more I cleaned it the worse it became. Needless to say I was rather irritated that I was forced to buy a new tablet because I could not buy a new stylus. (waacom no longer had them). This one was only 50 more than the medium bamboo, but it is much better. Not only is it wireless but the stylus is much better and you can buy a variety of replacement stylus (air brush stylus for example) They are not cheap (100+) but if you ever took one apart you will see the stylus has some pretty impressive circuitry and induction coils inside. Plus its surface it touch sensitive so you can use it as one huge track pad. It seems to hold a pretty good charge. It is not all that heavy in case you want to doodle like you would with a clip board. It uses a "Mini" usb to charge not a micro which means it is only my second device to use one. Most devices use "Micro". This comes with a charging cord so its not that big a deal (I have tons of micro usb cords, just not that many mini) Overall it has some good weight but not to heavy for me. It seems stiff like a clipboard, so I don't worry to much of it twisting apart over extended use.

The Wacom Intuos Pro Medium is an excellent touch tablet for doing any type of artwork. I do professional Photoshop work and it has increased my productivity to the point where I couldn't live without it. The response and accuracy has amazed me over and over. The medium size tablet works perfect for my needs and this model comes with the wireless kit. Just sit back and go to town. You can't go wrong with a Wacom product.

I am excited to learn all that this tablet can offer and so far the WACOM Intuos Pro (Medium) Tablet has performed as I imagined it should. I find vast support communities and tutorials on the web and enjoy following along/reading/learning about this newest addition to my electronic toolkit. Best Buy, as always, provided prompt service and accurate shipping. I have yet to be disappointed by any purchase made through this Corporation. Their prices are always competitive (or lower than most) and their service is excellent.

Am very pleased with both performance and price. Just be sure to set the pen for "Click" and NOT "Hover" - With it set to hover, simply moving the pen over the pad can wreak havoc on web sites by opening unwanted windows, and closing forms while they're being filled in! Otherwise, it's up to Wacom's usual high quality.

I bought this for my girlfriend as a present to get her back into drawing again. She loves how responsive it is and the touch sensitivity for drawing. She just had a problem registering the product on Wacom's website to receive the free software that came with it. After about an hour she was able to get the website to work right. I give a 4 just because it's not cool to offer free software and make it super difficult to actual get it.

    Great Tablet, Great Upgrade

Overall, a definite upgrade from the last tablet that was being used. More responsive, and feels very precise. (The pen has a great feel to it while in use, and the variety of included stylus nibs provide a lot of variation). Like a lot of people say, the power port feels a little bit loose, and the adapter is able to jiggle a bit, but all this requires is a bit of care in order not to bump it or jostle it too much.

I bought this to edit photos. I use it with Photo Shop. It is so easy to use and makes editing photos a snap. I have the medium size, which is a good size. You might consider the large if you are going to use dual screens.

I have had the Wacom tablet for few weeks with out any issues. This is an excellent purchase for anyone using Photoshop or a similar photo editing program. It will help to take your editing to the next level. Easy to do the initial setup and get to work.

I'm an amateur photographer and use this mainly for editing photos. It's a really powerful tool (more than I need) that hands down beats using a mouse or track-pad for detailed work. However, the learning curve is steep and truth be told If I did not have a good friend to help get me started I probably would have returned this and opted for something simpler. - Thus the four star rather than 5 star rating.

    The Intuos is Definitely Intuitive

First of all, I absolutely love this thing. I was able to within a half an hour have it completely installed and configured to my liking. The relationship between the pen and the tablet is absolutely incredible. The feel of the surface beneath the tip and the rotational position of the pen make it feel like I am using a real pen or pencil. The multi-touch functionality is good in a pinch, but being used to the responsiveness of an iPad its hard to put up with any short comings. It sometimes doesn't register when I am doing a pinch or twist gesture, which can be a significant interruption to your workflow. Honestly though, I rarely have the need for it, so its not that big of a deal. The buttons on the side are touch sensitive, bringing up a on screen map of the current button configuration. I'm still loving this thing and would definitely recommend this.

Very good tablet, come with basic drawing software that has to be downloaded with the code in the box. Most of the software can be use to Mac or PC. Medium size is fairy large. Best to be used on a desktop computer. It is also wireless, no issues connecting the unit, comes with its own dongle overall very happy with the product. Going to by another small one to use on my laptop.

I upgraded from an Intuos 3 to the medium Intuos pro pen. I had been working in photoshop and sketchbook pro for the past 8 years on the Intuos 3 and I can say the upgrade was well worth the expense. Aside from moving to the Cintiq model this is a great upgrade to anyone doing digital artwork.

I use this with Photoshop and light room. I love the pressure sensitivity and being able to pain on a layer mask lightly without having to adjust opacity up and down. I've also used this in illustrator playing with hand lettering. It's so addicting and fun! Great tool. In Photoshop I think you could use a small size and still be happy but I like the feel of the medium.

I've used this for about a month and I love it! Once you program all the buttons and stuff for you specific programs it really makes things a lot smoother - I'm even using it when I am surfing the web - with the gestures and button programmability it could be used for nearly anything!
