It's a wahl- do we need to say more? Great for vacation. My husband has essential tremor and this is easier to use than shaving with a razor when one's hand shakes.

These clippers are smaller than expected, my fault for not throughly reading description. They work well but are really only for trimming small areas not cutting hair.

It's a trimmer. Not special bells or whistles, but it gets the job done. Mine came with a broken adjustable guide.

This trimmer works great but a little noisy. I wish they can reduce a bit with noisy.

A bit loud, but it works perfect. Only real gripe is hair tends to stick to the rubber handle.

Amazing battery last long and it good for a lot ocations and perfect when you travel and you take it with you...

This replaced an older Wahl trimmer that I really liked until it wore out. But this new model is a disappointing and noisy beard trimmer. It cuts such a small swath that I must use extreme care not to leave holes/divots in my beard near the lips. The battery charge does last many days, but there’s no docking station so I have to unwind a long power cord and leave it lying across the counter all morning. Loud motor buzzing is very annoying. It’s hard to clean beard hairs from blades and rubber grip. Oiling blades every couple weeks is messy. I’d suggest shoppers look at other models.

I purchased this based on Best Buy's description stating it is "Wet/Dry" and that it has a "LED charge indicator". After opening the retail packaging, I discovered both of those features are NOT present in the trimmer. The retail packaging (I checked all 6 sides) and the instructions manual also make no mention of those 2 features. After emailing the manufacturer, Wahl explicitly confirmed that this model 9893L does NOT have those 2 features. I will be returning this and purchasing another product. Otherwise, Wahl did confirm that the 1" blade head can be removed and rinsed. Also, the rubber handle is grippy (i.e., lint attractor). I have not tested the product since I will be returning it unused.

I just gave it 4 stars only because I don't like the "extreme grip". Now having said that my problem with the grip is when I trim my beard the cut off pieces of beard stick to the grip and I have to wash them off with hot water or soapy water or they just stick there. So I removed the grip. Now for the good part... there is no possible way you can't find a trim guide to meet your needs, they are fantastic! I truly love this trimmer for keeping my beard and mustache short and tight and I can also trim my head hair too! It's an outstanding trimmer and I would recommend it to anyone who needs a great trimmer.

Wahl is just a great brand. This has excellent power with precision and a good grip.
