I had to call Wahl to get instructions as to how to open the handle and install the battery. The instructions themselves are inadequate, as is the grooming aspects. As an American of African descent, I find it does not provide a smooth or complete shave nor does it trim very well, and the ear hair removal attachment does not get the job done either. I have used various Wahl products in the past and found them to be excellent so for me this Trimmer is a great dissapointment.

I wanted a trimmer that I can leave in my car for when my OCD kicked in and found a random hair on my face. This seemed like it would have perfectly fit the bill.
First, the item is very small so you can keep it anywhere like in my glove box. The cap fits over the blade so there is no need to remove the blade before putting it away.
Now unfortunately things go bad after that. The blade doesn't cut well which is its primary use. Also, the cap does not secure to the trimmer at all which means when I put it on the cap just slides right off. I would expect there to be some kind of small click to secure it, but nothing. Maybe a manufacturing defect, maybe not, but having the cap just fall off in my glove box is not what I am looking for. Since it was only $10 and I would spend that in gas driving to Best Buy to return it, I guess it will just be another disposable item that will take up space in a landfill for the next 500 years.
I will save and reuse the AAA lithium battery it can with as its legacy.
