The album that put A7X on the map with demos and other rarities. Great purchase. The flag is also awesome.

I always look for best buy exclusive releases, and this one is one of my favorite ever.

The Fallen Will Awaken When You Blast This One Of A Kind Musical Adventure!

Waking the Fallen is one of Avenged Sevenfold's best albums. As a sophomore offering, it's a bit more refined and features some great song writing. This re-issue features alternate and live versions of the original tracks which allows A7X fans to enjoy the album in a new way. There is a good mix of familiarity and fresh musical ideas which makes it feel like you are listening to some of your favorite songs yet enjoying them as if you heard them for the first time again. The accompanying DVD documentary was average. It was nice to see videos for the older songs but the film itself was not interesting enough to watch more than one time through. The coolest part of Best Buy's packaging was the included souvenir logo flag. Overall, this was a great buy and something I will enjoy listening to for a long time.

The best keeps getting better. One of the best albums that Avenged Sevenfold has put out, is back with added features such as a 30-minute documentary showing never-before-seen footage of the band in its early days; previously unreleased live tracks and demos. And this edition of the CD came with a 48x48 Avenged Sevenfold flag. The price was modest. It's the same as the CD/DVD combo, except you are paying an additional $5 or so, for the flag. Which isn't too bad. Because you would pay that much for shipping alone by buying direct from Avenged Sevenfold's website. I definitely recommend it to any hardcore A7x fan.

I love disc 2, it is really cool to hear how the songs developed from demos to how they sound on the album. The live tracks are awesome too. It's good to hear them play these songs live, they don't play many songs off this album any more. Disc 1 is the original album, nothing new there. {no its not even remastered}. Dvd has the original video for unholy confessions, and the official video. A video for Chapter 4, and a half hour documentary on waking the fallen that was pretty interesting.

Let me start off by saying that Best Buy has an exclusive bundle that features an A7X flag! It also comes with 3 CDs; the original Waking the Fallen album; another with all the demo tracks for Waking the Fallen, which is absolutely amazing, by the way; and a 3rd CD with old live performances and the original video cut of Unholy Confessions, which, up until now, was very difficult to find online. Anyway, this was a great buy at Best Buy. I got a LOT of content for such a small price!

This album is a great insight into the early workings of the Waking the Fallen album. The demos, alternate versions, and live versions give longtime Avenged Sevenfold fans a greater look at this album that helped propel them to become the band they are now. The best part about the album package is the DVD included that has a 30 minute documentary showing behind the scenes making of this album and into the life of A7X during this period in their career.

This is a killer deal. It comes with the normal "Waking the Fallen" release plus another disc of alternative versions, demos and live songs. To top that off it includes a documentary DVD regarding "Waking the Fallen". If that wasn't cool enough it comes with a 4 ft by 4 ft A7X flag. Great deal for any Avenged Sevenfold fan.

This is a really cool view into Waking the Fallen that gives listeners the opportunity to see growth and maturity from sevenfold in relation to demos becoming tracks on an album. The documentary is very well done and interesting. Overall this is exactly what I expected from sevenfold as a sevenfold fan, great buy

The second disc with the alternate version of second heartbeat,the Demos,and Live tracks are almost like getting an extra A7X Album. Anybody that's new to A7X should buy this and anybody that's familiar with the band,it's a must have!! And it came with a huge Deathbat Flag.

I'm a huge fan of Avenged Sevenfold and was looking forward to this when I heard it was happening. The extra songs and DVD are great bonuses as well as the flag that came with the Best Buy pre-order package.

Killer album with great live songs & alternate versions. The Death Bat flag that comes with it is awesome too & the DVD with videos on it is great too. A must have for an A7X fan!!!!

This was always one of my favorite A7X albums being that it came out 10 years ago I feel there is no need for a rerelease already. It's still a great album but the reason I bought it was mainly for the cool flag it was packed with.

As a die hard A7X fan, this album is packed full of extras. Weather it be the DVD with exclusive music videos or the original cuts of the album it does not disappoint at all

I'm a big fan of the band. The new cd is great. I like the DVD as well. Best part of this combo is the flag. It's not a small cheesy one, it's big. Covers half my wall.

The sound is very good the documentery is great and the booklet it comes with is excellent. My favorit part is listening to the live concerts. enjoy so much.

I have always loved this album! When I heard they were rereleasing Waking The Fallen I had to have it! The flag is just a really big plus!
