I purchased 2 Walgreens gift cards. I received the codes. I tried to redeem them online or in store and in both cases the gift cards were not recognized. I checked https://walgreens.myretailcard.com/ and it says the amount is in full and valid but impossible to redeem. Stay away

I appreciate the 15% discount this gives me when I shop at Walgreen’s, which I do regularly. I bought this last year and could use it online but now (May 2025) it can only be used in store. Previously, it was easy for me to make an online order, pay online with the gift card and go pick up my order at the store. It is a bit clunky pulling it up at the cash register but can be done. I can take advantage of more discounts at Walgreens when I shop online so that is my preference. I will certainly use it. Best Buy website said it could be used online or in store but there was no method to enter it online at Walgreen’s checkout.
