Having been a Johnny Cash fan I was enthusiastic when the movie was first released. Phoenix as Cash kind of made me raise my eyebrows a bit but any doubts were put to rest pretty quickly. Now there is always the chance that a bio picture can be too heavy handedly and manipulated by the director but this doesn't seem to be the case. Also if I remember correctly Johnny Cash saw and liked the film before he passed and that is good enough for me.

Reese Witherspoon and Joquin Phoenix NAIL THIS!!!! Very in depth performance with a true understanding of their characters. Cannot think of a better tribute to the love and lifetime that Johnny Cash & June Carter Cash spent together. A truly fantastic performance.

I'd seen this movie in theatres when it was first released. My daughter is a huge Reese fan so I bought it for her. It's worth the price just to hear the true actors sing. Great movie especially if you were around during the June & Johnny real-life love story era.

I had been looking for this movie and walked in Best Buy to purchase something else and there it was...for $2.99. I really like this movie and don't think you have to be a country music fan to enjoy. Being from Arkansas, it gave me some history on one of our state's Greats.

Was never a Johnny Cash fan until I saw this movie. It is not just a movie about a music sensation its a movie about musical history and the beautiful relationship between Johnny Cash and June Carter. Just a fantastic movie with great blue ray sound

A brilliantly emotional film about Johnny Cash's early life and career and his pursuit of June Carter. Jaoquin Phoenix and Reese Witherspoon's performances are phenomenal and should've both won the Oscar that year.

this movie was okay I mean not the greatest Johnny Cash's School no disrespecting him but I just didn't like that guy that played him accent I don't know it just bothered me the storylines are right though it's okay it's alright movie

I remember watching this movie when I was young back in 2005 and really enjoying it which lead me to know who Johnny Cash was, years later I bought the bluray and its better now that I'm older. Joaquin Phoniex does a fantastic job along with the beautiful Reese Witherspoon which made me miss her in films again. Definitely pick up if you love bio movies of musicians

I love this movie, especially the music. Phoenix and Witherspoon are phenomenal in their roles, especially considering they did all their own singing. It's a great movie about the pitfalls of fame and redemption. Highly recommended.

Walk The Like is easily one of the best Biopics ever made. Joaquin Phoenix does such a great job portraying The One, the Only, The Lefendary Johnny Cash. He becomes Johnny Cash. Truly a great movie!!

okay okay i don't mean sinner, i mean "Johnny Cash " wasn't the perfect person in the world and the film elaborate on it and makes the film great and fantastic, making you even like a guy like him, with his bad and good in him.

Johnny Cash!!! Don't really need to say any more. I bought this because I love hearing about his life and struggles on top of listening to his eternal hits. I'm not a big Joaquin fan, but he was outstanding in this one.

This movie makes you want to get up and sing along with June and Johnny!! Reese Witherspoon and Joaquin Pheonix make a complete oscar worthy performance!! One of my favorites to watch with others or by myself! LOVE THIS MOVIE!!

Phoenix does an excellent job of embodying Cash and makes this film very interesting to watch. It pulls no punches showing his drug addiction and how June Carter seems to save him from himself. Witherspoon also does a great job of acting here. I was never a huge Jonny Cash fan, but enjoy this movie quite a bit!

I am a Johnny Cash fan and this movie is very well done. A lot of accurate depictions and some added Hollywood. Over all this is a great movie. This is an overall favorite of mine.

Best movie Reese and Joaquin ever did. Awesome soundtrack too. I never really listened to Johnny Cash before this movie, and no disespect to Mr. Cash but I enjoy Joaquin's voice even more.

Saw it in the movies and bout it on DVD years ago. When I happened to see it on sale in Blu Ray and I decided to replace my warn DVD with a new blu ray. Never get tired of watching this one! Great movie!
