Nice, but beware assembly.

As much as my wife and I like the style of these nightstands, the assembly was absolutely horrible! I have not had such a labor-intensive furniture assembly in forever! Each one had about 30 little wooden dowels that needed to be inserted with wood glue. Then in addition, 30 something screws with no pilot holes, making the assembly very error prone. I ended up having 3 different parts of mine where a screw went astray and cracked a part of the outer nightstand. I will not discount the fact that perhaps my furniture assembly skills may just be sub-par as well...
With that said, we are keeping them and we do like them. I just wish they used more modern assembly methods.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend

These end tables are heavy wood, very sturdy and worth the price.
