A bit of a process to assemble. Not difficult, but definitely set aside an afternoon or an evening to complete the build. I nicked a few panels in the build process and the "finish" scratched off immediately.
Once built, I had to give the piece a once over with a furniture marker to hide some of the parts that had a missing finish.
It's not very high quality. I got it on a sale, so I'm not too mad about it. It definitely does the job.
It looks great though, and I get lots of compliments on it from everyone from friends and family to even Charter Spectrum techs.
I would recommend this to a friend

I'll be brief: this console looks very, very good. No complaints at all.
The bad: this console is difficult to put together. My wife (a handy electrician) and two of her friends took about 3 hours to build this. Hanging the doors was easily the most time consuming part.
In addition, the shelves are about 1/4" too short to put DVD/video game cases in it. That is silly- we had planned to put consoles in one half and games in the other half.
Overall, it's a really phenomenal value and looks great, but with a few tweaks it could be perfect.
