This item was sturdy after purchasing wood glue but the wood material is cheaply made. One of the wood pieces broke while assembling. Also its easy to place item pieces the wrong way.

Looks great, solid finished product. It took a while to assemble but that is because the instructions were a little vague in the beginning. However once I did get back on track everything was simple. Took about 5 hrs. Fits perfectly with my bedroom furniture.

The entertainment console I purchased is wonderful and looks great, just like the picture on the website!!

What a beautiful piece. Easy to put together and looks beautiful in my living room! The door was cracked but I emailed the company and they sent me out a new piece. Great company!

Product is very sturdy and the wood is good quality. Great instructions however It would have been nice if they had people to put the item together for a fee.

I noticed that some of the other comments infer that the instructions for putting this unit together leave a lot to be desired. I am a female who lives alone and no longer has patience or time for this type of detail so I opted to purchase the furniture assembly and, for my circumstances, was very happy I made this choice. The additional $130 is well worth the elimination of the apparent aggravation associated with assembling the unit. Along with the TV stand, I purchased a Vizio 65” TV, Rocketfish tilting wall mount, LG 2.1 Soundbar and wireless sub-woofer and digital amplifier. I opted for the delivery and mount of the TV (another $130 for this service but, again, for my purposes, well worth it). All items, except the TV were either delivered or picked up (mount) at my local store. The TV was delivered by two Geek Squad Agents, who completed the TV stand assembly, TV mount/connect/setup within 1 hr. 45 min. These items are phase 1 in a total transformation of my living room and I couldn’t be happier with my purchases. I am totally in love with the TV stand. It is sturdy, and stylish. All of the purchases are perfect for my needs. Note: Beware if you live alone, are not particularly strong and are without easy access to family, friends or neighbors you can enlist to assist you with heavy deliveries. I live on the second floor of an apartment building and my TV stand, which is 250 lbs., was delivered by UPS when I was not at home and was left at the bottom of the steps (leaning upward onto the steps while the bottom was partially obstructing my 1st floor neighbor’s doorway). The box was much too heavy for me to haul up the stairs (even with a hand truck) so I, ultimately, had to open one end of the box to remove various pieces of the unit separately until the box was light enough for me to bring the remainder upstairs on the hand truck (about 75 lbs. worth). Just a side note because ‘delivery’ no longer means to your door (ESPECIALLY if the item is heavy).

We really like the design and size of the stand. The finish is very nice and matches the rest of our furniture. It goes very well with our new 43 inch TV. The only issue we have is they need to have more options for all the components most people have anymore. There are only 2 holes for wires at the top of the top shelf. I took the back panels to a friend of mine to drill more holes for the wires for my other components. We also had issues with trying to get the tiny little screws in the tiny holes to hold the glass in the doors. I had to redrill them because it was taking way too long to get the job done. We would recommend this to anyone looking for a nice piece of furniture.

Walker Edison Rustic Highboy wood TV stand is good. There is only one problem the back panel where there is openings for the wires of the cable box or CD player is only located at the top, the second shelf doesn't have an opening if you want to run wires through. I had to place my DVR player on top of the unit where I have the TV

I like that I finally found something that matched my bedroom furniture and that it is tall unlike other tv stands, most are very short. Only bad thing was that it had small damages but kept anyway instead of unbuilding and putting back in box to return

Cabinet went together easily and looks great with the exception of a damaged piece that is right in the front and cannot be fixed by us. Too bad. Too much work and effort to complain about, no one would care.

For the price, it's excellent. The black laminate is easy to mar, however. I do like that the back panel is mdf and much sturdier than the older nail on panels of other sauder units. I had to cut more holes in the back panel because of extremely limited ventilation. Heat is the number one killer of electronic components. Set up took two hours. Don't rush it and don't over tighten the screw in posts. The system between Best Buy and Walker is absolute crap. Huge delays and no one knew where it was for weeks, well past Christmas. Don't buy online, go to the store; the tech store giant Best Buy has internal ordering issues between store, online orders, or buying through your own account. According to their frustrated employees they get sick of no help from "above" and irritated customers. Also... Unless you pay to have the Geek Squad install the system, they are no use with user questions, even if you buy the extended warranty.

This is a beautiful tv stand/entertainment center made of higher quality materials and definitely enhances the overall appearance of my living room. It took a little time to assemble, but the instructions were pretty straightforward. It cost a little more than I would typically spend, but is well worth the price. I highly recommend!

Overall, the unit is well constructed and relatively easy to put together. The materials are all very good quality. The glass panels were a bit difficult to put into place, because they used very small screws to help keep them into place. My only other complaint would be that there are only two holes on the back side for wires. It makes more sense to have a hole for each shelf, so you can place different electronics (DVD player, receiver, cable box) on different shelves, since everything will not fit on the top shelf. Overall, a good unit, but wish it had some other additions.

The cabinet required complete assembly. There was 30+ parts not including hardware. The instructions were very vague and hard to follow. So when one of the pieces didn't seem to fit right, my wife and I agonized over the instructions for 2 days trying to decide if I had assembled it correctly. I finally went on the company website and was pleased with how easy it was to request a replacement part. The part arrived in 10 days. I completed the assembly and we are very happy with the final product. It is a quality piece of furniture.

I am very pleased with my purchase. It is a huge upgrade from my last tv cabinet. It arrived in one rather large box, packed well to prevent any type of damage during transit. Plenty of room for your various equipment and also room for storage of whatever other associated items you might want to keep within reach. Assembly looked above my skill level so I hired someone to do it.

Love this tv stand. Very roomy compartments to fit your equipment. Very aesthetically pleasing.
