Way too cumbersome for the average person to put together. I do a lot of home assembly stuff. I'll give it kudos for the actual weight of the product. If you put it together, it's gonna be solid and last a long time. I wasn't thrilled with the dull/dry finish, so I personally returned it, but it may be okay for someone else.

Took a little longer to assemble but better after I started working on it. I suggest painting it to give that special feeling.

Easy to assemble. I enjoy the chairs. It doesn’t matter for me, but it doesn’t look expensive. Light weight- I like. But, again, some may want more heavy ones.

i am trying to decide whether to purchase...the description says out in the elements or on a protected porch. saying it needs to be protected regardless kind of goes against the whole description down to the variety of wood which was selected because of it's weather durability, i.e, withstand elements!!

Hello ilsa. This rocking chair can be used in the out of doors, but if it gets wet or rained on, we recommend wiping the furniture dry as soon as possible. We also recommend placing waterproof covers over this when it's not in use. It also needs to be kept out of direct sunlight.
