Rescheduled 3 times. They just can’t find someone to install a range hood, but are more than happy to charge instantly to make an appointment.

I am having the worst experience with this purchase and installation of kitchen hood. The in home consultant first recommended the wrong hood. The installer came and told me it was the wrong hood. The price went up from under a thousand to close to 2k. Then the installer came the second time and I realized that the hood I purchased didn’t have blower motor included in the 2K price tag. The installer was surprised too. Then I was told the blower motor was out of stock and I should look somewhere else for faster delivery for the motor. So I purchased the motor for another 700 dollars from kitchen aid directly. Took another two weeks to schedule the installation only to be told again that it was not the right motor, a connecting cable needs to be ordered separately and because the original installer was not the one came to the third appointment a part was missing from the previous trip!!!!! So I am now told to return the motor to kitchen aid which is another hassle in itself, and maybe I need to order a different hood all together. I started on this hood purchase almost 2 months ago. No supply chain delays but I still have no working hood in my kitchen. This is shameful of best buy to let customer down like this and I await a solution. I need a solution urgently now as this is impacting my life in a more and more unacceptable way. In this situation you basically have a very willing customer to pay without regards to budget and you cant deliver the product or the service no matter what. Your business model is not working and you need to fix it.

This product was never installed. Unfortunately, the technician, upon arrival, informed me that product was badly damage in the original box it came in. He said he would return it and put in an order for a new replacement. He also told me there is nothing I need to do. He would take care of everything, including rescheduling the appointment whenever the new replacement is in. That was the last time I have heard anything. No one has contacted me since and I have made many phone calls to your customer service number without receiving any new information or help. Best Buy has slowly become one of the worst companies to do business with. This is unacceptable! I am going to file a complaint with the Attorney General’s Office and the Department of Consumer Protection. I will be demanding a full refund for the unit.

1st install attempt, the guys who came said they couldn’t install it even though the install was included. I had my electrician hang the hood, except the hood was damaged. New hood was scheduled to be installed. The contractors Best Buy use only hung the fan part and not the shroud which covers the exhaust pipe. Total tech is a complete joke. You shouldn’t sell people on free install and not do the install. I am over this program it’s not worth anything. The item is fine, but the lack of coordination between Best Buy and it’s install people is ridiculous. Everyone I talk to is super nice, but nobody has fixed the fact that you keep sending people out who can’t or won’t do what you tell me they will do. It’s frustrating.

The installers wanted every reason to leave, caused damage to our brand new cabinets with no resolution offered, and would have left the hood unlevel had my husband not been there with his own level. Additionally, the hood is mounted at the wrong height but they were insistent that is where it had to mounted.
The installers left screws in the driveway, trash in the yard, and complained that they had to do work.
If this were yelp I would reply “Would not recommend”. Best Buy has offered no solution and is no longer returning calls.

Looks great in my kitchen. It works great and at the highest speed is quite loud but it gets the job done. The only thing that’s a little bothersome is the fan and light have a very sensitive touch area that has to be pressed just right to work. Sometimes, I have to press several times.

The team who did the install is poor. For high end appliance, they did not check the exhaust duct size before installation. They just started installation, but ended up with no duct connected. Their explanation is that they dont have the right size. So, My GC has to took it out and reinstall in. My GC discovered that screws are too short for the horizontal wood attaching in between wall and hood. Also, they only put 3 screw on wall. it was supposed to put two on each side, total 4 screws attaching to the stud. I think the team is not as professional as the other team installation built in refridgerator.

I’m finally having my Rangehood installed after months of waiting. Best Buy was supposed to install, but after many issues due to communication with delivery/install it was delayed. I’ve tried reaching out to have my Rangehood installed after months of having it sit only to be disconnected every time with no call back. I finally decided to go outside of best buy and have another professional install only to discover my range hood is tweaked at the corners and bowed (concaved) and needs to be repaired or replaced. I can’t express how incredibly disappointed I am with my whole experience with Best Buy!! Maybe with this super crappy review Someone from Best Buy will reach out to me to get this corrected!!!

I was in tears of JOY when BETO/JESUS said..no worries madam, we got you!
I bought this range hood about 6 months ago and it was a HUGE HASSLE.
I am NEVER EVER buying from Best Buy again because it was RIDICULOUS! The appliances came dented coz the first installation guys did not handle it properly, the second time it had a control panel broken and whatnot. Finally it came in OK but the outlet was not correctly placed in my kitchen.
BETO and his assistant JESUS were a GOD SEND...they figured it out and managed it extremely well. VERY VERY PROFESSIONAL AND COMPASSIONATE people..the world needs more people like BETO.

I got a phone call the night before from Best Buy to verify the appointment. I took the day off. Installers never showed or had the decency to call me that they are not coming. Will try to avoid Best Buy in the future and telling all my friends and colleagues to do the same. Wasted 6 months waiting for a range hood and then Best Buy cancelled my order all together without telling me. On top of that there is no compensation for credit card interest for the last six months (BB charges your credit card immediately but there is was delivery/installation). I've had multiple phone calls to the service center but there is no compensation for your troubles. Just stay away from Best Buy.

Love the Bosch range hood! So Sleek looking and functional! But the best part were the installers from the Geek Squad---Beto, Ivan and Julio(not sure if I have his name correct). They were awesome, patient, knowledgeable and professional!!

I’d like to provide a great review but unfortunately Best Buy sent Premier Logistics to deliver and install my new range hood but the installers damaged the hood during the install process. BB sent another one and that crew discovered that they cut the hood stack and cut the electrical line too short to install the replacement range hood. Premier Logistics wants to do an easy way out fix but that won’t happen as I want a hard wire install. Premier Logistics isn’t what I’d consider a competent appliance installation company. The purchase was great but the install was atrocious.

The company contracted with Best Buy for hood installation refused to install it because we have a ceramic tile backsplash. They said it was a potential liability because the tile might crack during then installation. They had been previously notified of the tile backsplash and we were told it wouldn't be a problem. We had to hire our own contractor at an additional expense. He installed then hood with no difficulty.
