If you're a KOL fan WALLS will not disappoint you. Not quite as poetic as Only By The Night or Mechanical Bull, but still a worthwhile listen with some good tunes.

I have been a huge KoL fan since Aha Shake Heartbreak. I am very fond of all their records with the exception of Youth & Young Manhood....and Only by the Night. A lot of critical reviews say this is too shiny, like Only by the Night, but I disagree. The production is crisp compared to the Ethan Johns productions, but the performances and writing are much better. Good pop rock. they don't write about dangerous women so much anymore, so maybe that's why they get a bad rap, but this album is concise, strong throughout, and well worth a listen.

Kings of Leon have returned to rock n roll

Oh yeah, Kings of Leon has returned from their hiatus with an album that is more like a curve ball. Instead of re-writing the same songs that have made them famous, the band took a right turn and the direction they chose is spectacular. The vocals are top notch. The lyrics are some of the best they have written. More importantly the musical direction the band took is a road they have not yet traveled. Go get the album and enjoy the first to last track.

A Softer More Introspective Kings' CD

This CD shows a side of the Kings which wasn't always evident in their earlier recordings. On this CD the group sounds more mellow and introspective than they have on their other CDs. This does not mean that they don't rock out because they do on many songs. It's just that they sound like many of the lighter rockers like Tom Petty or Bob Seeger. In my opinion this is their best CD, and one of the best I've heard in the past six months..

I wasn't sure of what to expect when I heard the teaser preview of this album and watched the video of "Walls"... it was hard to see what direction the band was going musically, and they had a new producer and recorded in a new location. However, since purchasing this album, I haven't really stopped listening! There is so much depth to these songs, and it is just an amazing work of musical art!

Big step forward for the guys. After a couple of albums that were good, but were essentially just the same sound and style, Kings of Leon finally experiment and try and fresh new sound. This new sound, brought in with a new producer suits them well and reinvigorates the band. Gives the music the same excitement we all had when we first fell in love with their music in 2009.

I know much has been said about the last few Kings of Leon albums sounding too commercial, maybe even "poppy". This album should appease those fans that have been around awhile as it shows more "edge" than some of their more recent works but will lure new fans as their works still have catchy beats and melodies. Enjoyed this album from my first listen.

I loved this CD. Especially the song "Walls". Hit home for me. Its a little lighter than some of their older stuff, but still that hint of dark love and passion when you listen to the lyrics. Metaphoric. Most people miss that. I love driving out on a Friday night to this CD. Gets you pumped up.

I still prefer CD's to downloads. I like to explore the album from beginning to end and this one does not disappoint. This album is instantly recognizable Kings of Leon but at the same time is fresh. I have listened to it several times and it has me humming along with it.

I have read mixed reviews of this record and I am left wondering why the negative reactions exist. This is a great record from beginning to end. It delivers signature Kings songs along with some adventures into new territories. I highly recommend this album.

"Waste A Moment" starts things off and immediately lets you know that Kings Of Leon are back. Things just stay in overdrive from there, one song after another brings what is expected of this band. A haunting "Walls" closes things out and leaves us wondering what this great band will do next.

    Kings of Rock

Kings of leon continue to push the envelope and evolve in a decreasing segment of true modern day rock bands. In a time of pure pop, electro, and hip hop, this album is refreshing and a welcomed diversion. Solid throughout and most of the tracks are great and worthy of a purchase.

Saw Kings of Leon in concert a few years ago and their onstage energy matches their music. Their latest effort, "Walls", is a fantastic mix of upbeat rock, relatable lyrics, and a couple of ballads for good measure. Definitely worth a listen!

Kings of Leon's Wall is a great mix of songs. I am not the best at reviewing music, but I will say that this is the only KOL album I own, although I do enjoy some of their other songs. The entire album is great. Definitely recommended.

One of the few albums that I can listen to all the way through without skipping. Vocals are amazing and the sound is a bit different but doesn't stray too far from the sound KOL is known for.

Kings of Leon quickly went from being one of the biggest bands in the world to "last year's thing". This album shows they still have the ability to make great rock music. Perhaps not quite as good as their early releases but still worth owning.

After two relatively weak albums, WALLS is a pretty great return to form, as in a return to the Because of the Time & Only by the Night era. However, KOL will probably never again be the band that made their first two albums.

Excellent CD. Great follow up to Mechanical Bull. You can tell the band is getting bigger with a larger following. This album has quite a bit more production polish than previous albums.
