I have been a fan of the Apes movies ever since I saw the original movies when I was young. When I heard about the new series being made I looked forward to seeing where they took things... thankfully the trilogy was well done and the final movie was a great conclusion.

Does not recapture charlston heston famous line but the special effects are amazing. Great color

This film was the third in the series. It is probably the most powerful and poignant. There is a scene where Cesar is talking and it may be Oscar worthy! It is well-done and one could watch it several times.

Awesome final film in the new Planet of the Apes Trilogy. Excellent set includes plenty of extras, behind the scenes, and making of featurettes. The only lacking element is the abscence of the special steelbook case version like the 1st and 2nd film Blu ray releases.

Finally as fans we get a chance to get closure on the planets of the apes movie. Cesar really comes into his own is not only a family man but as a protector and a provider for his community. I didn't like Holly reference a lot of slave innuendos almost like Twelve Years a Slave but those references did in overtake the movie and it was still a 4 and a 1/2 star movie.

This was one of the best (If not the best) movies in the Pota franchise. Highly recommended even for the casual viewer. Have not had the time to view the extra content yet so can't rate that yet. But I'm sure it will be just as great and entertaining as the movie was.

War for the Planet of the Apes is amazing. Probably one of the best movies of the year. It had a great storyline, great acting, amazing visuals, just everything was really good. I would definitely recommend checking this one out even if you’ve never seen the others.

'War' is an okay/decent end to the series. The special effects are in line with the other films in the series and the story line is okay. I didn't find this chapter to be as good as the previous installments - this movie is slow at times. However, it is worth a watch if you enjoyed the other films. If you are planning to purchase, then buy the movie when it's on sale.

This was without a doubt, one of the best movies of the year and certainly the best of the new Apes trilogy. Andy Serkis continues to be fantastic and Woody Harrelson has another stellar performance. With a great soundtrack and stunning visuals, this is a must see.

This movie takes place after the events of the first movie and in this one the humans and apes try to coexist until something goes horribly wrong which provokes an all out war between the two, this is a great sequel to the already great first movie.

I purchased this movie because I loved the story line of Cesar. I wanted a 4k version and it delivered. I have SONY 75' 4K Smart TV and my dvd player was my SONY PS4 Pro. It was so clear and made me feel good that my purchases lived up to their billing and hype.

The third movie in the recent Ape trilogy is a slow burn. While a bit darker than the previous films, this one is a masterpiece. Movie nerds like myself will enjoy the tip of the hat to classic films like Apocalypse Now and the Great Escape, among others. 5 stars.

While it wasn't precisely the movie I'd expected to see, WFTPOTA has some of the most stunning performances I've seen from characters onscreen, ever, and remains committed to asking the crucial questions about humanity and our nature for which the series is famed.

I own all these Ape movies and they're ALL good and it appears this one is ALSO no exception! Very entertaining and a good story. Love the acting by everyone, especially Wood Harrelson. If you enjoyed the first and second one, you definitely can't miss this one.

The new Planet Of The Apes films are one of the few trilogies that have gotten better with each film. War was a fitting ending and the 4K allows you to view it in the best way possible so you won't miss a thing. Not trying to spoil it, but watch for the "twist"!

The evolution of Caesar continues here. Rise was a good start, Dawn amazingly set the bar high, and this one matches the previous effort. Sure, it's not really a war movie like the title suggests, but it has great plot development all the same.

I have always been a planet of the apes fan and this movie series was excellent. This movie caps it off really nicely and it looks stunning on 4k. I'm really glad this new trilogy turned out so good. Hopefully we will get more Planet of the Apes in the future.

I was an avid fan of the original movie collection. I am an avid fan of this remake collection as well. Very rarely can a remake be as epic, if not more than the originals. These movies are a very impressive re-rendering of those timeless classics we all love.

Better than the debacle with Mark Wahlberg. Probably the best thing I can say about it.

I thought it was just an ok movie to watch,,not as into it as the previous in the series...
