As is the case with each of these movies in the new version of the franchise the visuals a spectacular, Serkis is phenomenal, and the movie is compelling. I don't find this as good as Dawn, but it is a lot better than some of the trash that came out this year....a million times better than that rubbish Transformers entry.

The Apes trilogy will go down as one of the better film trilogies out there. War for the Planet of the Apes closes the door on a great note. Definitely worth checking out, and check out Dawn of and Rise of the planet of the apes.

Played it on my Xbox One X and a 4k BENQ Monitor. Looked great, but I really wish I had an HDR screen. The movie was great, but not as good as the first one. Still enjoyed it as much as when I saw it in the movies. Great sound.

It was not a bad continuation of the series. It was interesting to see the interaction between the two cultures and then the final attack by the humans in an area where the military should have know there would be an avalanche.

If you're looking for an amazing end to an entertaining trilogy...you found the perfect flick. This blu-ray also plays well as a stand alone film. Well written, directed and packed with action along with strong emotional tones.

Such a great movie and got it at such an amazing price at Best Buy! Best Buy has all the newest movies at a great price, which is the reason I was able to get this blu ray version. It looks amazing on my new Samsung curve tv

Finishes up the story of the rise and dawn (or was it dawn and rise?) of the planet of the apes saga. It's kind of weird to be rooting for the apes against the humans, but these humans are not the most sympathetic characters!

The disc I got was defective, and I’m going to return it. You can see the printed stuff through the silver side, and the player wouldn’t recognize it. We wanted to watch it so I bought it on the Apple TV 4K, in UHD, and it is highly entertaining. I wouldn’t call it one of the all time greats, but you won’t regret it.

Wrapping up the current modern trilogy of the Apes films, War is just a fantastic movie. Effects are astounding. The apes just seem so real and believable. Probably the best film of the series, which is quite a feat nowadays.

I think this is a great movie. It's exciting and emotional. Not what I was expecting when they titled the movie "War of the Planet of the Apes". There really is no war. There's two small skirmishes. The film is more about the relationship Ceasar has with his people. Regardless, it's a great conclusion to the series.

My son saw the other planet apes movies and wanted to see this as well. Wife and I saw it on a date night and didn't tell him so this will be a stocking stuffer for him this xmas! Shh he thinks we haven't seen the movie yet.

As a POTA fan, this is a great movie. Probably the best in the trilogy. Quality of the Blue Ray is good and really shows the detail of the characters. I would recommend the Blue Ray over the DVD for this movie.

Good story. Kind of ties a few things to the original Planet of the Apes with Charleston Heston, kind of, but not really. Entertaining and emotional story line and has some undertones in it. Movie I would watch again. Not sure how they did the apes faces and motions and features, but it was very well done, realistic.

I have a 3D tv and I Absolutely love watching 3-D movies on it. I am a big fan of planet of the apes movies lots of great graphics and fun to enjoy it for the whole family.

This string of PLANET OF THE APES films is amazing and this third one is absolutely no disappointment! Pretty much flawless in both casting, writing and directing and Andy Serkis can pretty much do no wrong!

Big fan of this genre. This is one of the best since they remade the story from the original. BluRay is the only way! I buy all my movies now with the digital copies. VUDU rules so I can take my collection on my travels.

Being a big Planet Of the Apes fan, I was skeptical when the reboot/prequels started. They have all been very good though. This one was probably the best and most emotionally charged in the new trilogy. Highly recommend.

My favorite yet from the epic blockbuster franchise. Just enough battle scenes with a whole lot of heart and of course good humor sprinkled throughout. The visual effects are stunning. Andy Serkis deserves much praise.

War for the Planet of the Apes is the best of the trilogy. The whole series even! There’s great acting, gorgeous visuals, and a fantastic story line. Even if you haven’t seen the first two you should definitely see it.
