War Games is one of those classic 80's movies you don't see so much on TV anymore. What a shame. Love this movie. Broderick and Sheedy are great. The Blu Ray of this is OK - there is nothing really spectacular about the picture and sound to begin with so no real shocks there. I didn't have this in my collection however and the price is right so I got the Blu Ray anyway - worth it to have it. I watched it with my daughter and she loved it. I love sharing the older movies with my kids - they love them. Buy it for the story and nostalgia and share it!

An early Matthew Broderick movie, set in the period just before technology as we know it kicked in. Dial up modems in cradles, text-only web site interfaces, synthetic speech, etc. Good performances by Dabney Coleman, Broderick, and others. Funny to see a debate being hold on using computers to control military might, when today computers are used for almost every element of war and defense.

Wargames still entertains from the exciting intro to the tense finale. While the technology is outdated, it's great seeing how computer hacking was presented 30 years ago and close to reality it all seems compared to today. The blu ray improves the viewing experience with crisp video and subversive audio. Recommended for fans of 80's films and sci-fi fans.

A lot of fun. Holds up extremely well after 30 or so years. Blu ray transfer was good. Definite improvement over the previous DVD release. For the younger generation, this is about as accurate as Hollywood has ever come to accurately portraying real hacking.

WarGames is a classic movie, and it has finally come to Blu-Ray. The price was excellent, and the disc itself as far as capturing the original movie was spot on! I recommend this movie to any Sci-Fi or Military movie buff.

I liked this movie when is saw it over 30 years ago and I still liked it now. Obviously, the computer systems shown are very outdated today but the premise of this film was still interesting then and now

A lot of people remember this movie and loved it, so why not get it on blu ray. The picture is crisper and you will then have it for your movie viewing pleasure. I still love watching it all these years later.

I like this movie because of the actors & actresses in the movie. To me this was one of the few movies that Matthew Broderick did well in. Recommended to watch if your a fan of his.

This classic 80's film looks good on bluray. If u haven't see it u should definitely check it out. Despite the old school computer references it still works as a smart thriller.

This movie is a classic, and some of the themes are still topical even though the technology is dated. View it as a period picture and it is still a decent thriller.

Enjoyable movie with interesting plot. Acting and script aren't awesome but the story moves along. Plot doesn't hold up well mostly due to the technological advances in computers.

A teenager who thinks he is smarter than everyone, like most teenagers, and the world almost is destroyed. Matthew Broderick, when he is younger, is the main character.

This movie was a blast from the past. I could have bought it in DVD format instead of Blu-Ray. It didn't make much of a difference.

Cool retro packaging on a classic movie .. would you like to play a game

it was cheap enough to pick up on Blu-ray so I did, but don't spend more than five bucks for it.

Although the technology seems dated, this is still a great blast from the past!
