I own seasons 1-5 and I plan on buying this season. It may not have been the best season but it is still a very good show. I have seen every episode on original date it was shown. I am a die hard fan. There are some very touching moments in the show and a lot of twists and turns. I feel it follows the storyline with the devil and angels and god but also bringing us back to the other monsters. Where the monsters came from. I don't like how they kill off some of the cast when they could really be a great addition, however this show has been known to bring people back some way or another so no worries. It is a must for die hard fans, and even if your not a die hard fan it is still a great show and I'm sure most people would enjoy it. I'd pay full price it.

I love this show!!!! but i agree with some of what the other SPN fans are saying about this season! some of the episodes this season just kind of made you scratch your head and go what in gods name are you smoking Sara... i personally like sam as the soulless dic...i think Jay was much more funny with sams walls pulled back but i did miss the moments that we've grown to love between the the two brothers....but i really disliked dean out of his comfort zone...Jensen playing dean the way he did this season just wasnt the same. i agree 100% with what jensen said on playing dean. Kripke needs to come back on as a writer.... the season finale deff had kripkes touch to it... Eric come back if you know whats good for you!

This season was the biggestest mess of all. In fact, not many people will be able to tell you what exactly, the season was about up until the final 4 episodes. Plots were dropped and quite a few characters were killed off before we could see how good they might've been. IMO, Sera needs a new job, or at least, a lot more skills when it comes to writing. Now there were some episodes that were pretty good, just not enough. and overall, this season was more stand-alone and didn't much connect to any of the previous seasons. Plus half the season is brother division. Castiel wasn't that great, though it's awesome at the end of the season and there is a big reveal with him in the finale. Lisa/Ben was ok. Not great and not horrible. As to buying the dvd. Don't waste this much of your money. Wait till the price drops significantly.
