I'd always considered Washburn's to be cheap, low quality guitars before I tried this model out. I was more than pleasantly surprised by how nice this guitar is. The cedar top really brings definition to the sound, and although the low end is not as deep as it could be due to the body size, it is more than adequate. The construction and finish on mine are flawless, and you'll find features that you'll get on now other guitar at this price, such as a beautiful rosewood headstock overlay with mother-of-pearl inlaid logo, as well as a bone nut and saddle. If you are looking for a guitar for a beginner that they can use for years, or you just want and inexpensive second guitar to carry around, you can not go wrong with this.
