    Washing machine not working code C4

    The installers left without checking the installation and I tried to wash my cloth today and the machine shows code 4 C means no water supply . Either is bad connection, o the hose is stuck or the faucets are closed. We can’t move the washing machine to check . Very bad service

    I purchased a new ge combo washer/drier that was delivered and installed. Two days later it became defective, and Best Buy promptly scheduled a pickup and delivery of new unit with install. The Best Buy geek squad guys picked old unit up and literally dropped off new unit in my laundry room and refused to install. I am very disappointed, and can’t get a quick date from Best Buy to get someone to come back out to install. Best Buy is apologetic, but I am left for days without an install that was paid for originally. .

    I looked on samsung website to know how to install dyer. So when the installers came they connected a pipe to water outlet then the spliter. I knew that was wrong because there was a picture on samsung website showing spliter connected to water outlet. So i told him and he said just let me do this i know what i am doing. I left him alone for a bit and when i returned he was done. He asked me to sign papers and left. I inspected the dryer and saw all screws on dryer door was stripped. Missing screw on dryer door. He just did a really poor job. Installers are sub-contractors so they work really fast and they really dont care about the job. They just want to get in and get out. I was only allowed to upload 2 pictures. So i showed the missing screw and how you installed the water spliter for steam cycle. You can go to samsung website to see the correct way.

    They didn’t install it right at the first time , they didnt want to install the steam line that coming from the dryer , i had to call and they came again to install it , they broke the screen door in the basement and they lied about it , and when i filed a claim , they told me send picture and then they said if u dont have proof or camera in the basement then its your word against there word and i cant do anything and they said they didnt do it . So i cant be on your side , last time i i will deal with best buy

    DO NOT LET BEST BUY INSTALL YOUR WASHER!!! Keaton (Geek Squad, installer) did a poor job installing the fill hose which caused flooding in my home. I got him to come back and showed it to him but he is so proud and did not even apologize for what he has caused. Got a claim opened but that’s about it. Sedgwick, their 3rd party claim handler, will do nothing and will just let your house rot and grow molds until you give up, no matter how often you follow up. I’m a week short for my first month of waiting for nothing. This is how they treat their elite members.

    The washer was installed to close to my dryer .it was so closely installed where I couldn't get into my dryer had to call maintenance to help

    Worst experience with Best Buy Installation

    It was a nightmare experience during the installation. The guy who came to install it, did not install it properly and there was a water leakage in the washer room and then water came down into 1st floor ceiling. No body is there to help and best buy is just able to create a ticket for geek squad to take care. The whole process with geek squad is not straight forward. We struggled a lot to fix the issues temporarily with huge expenses and man power. I can't even explain it, we just moved to that new home 2 days ago got all works done and ready to start new life and this particular best buy installation messed up and pushed us 3 months behind.

    INSTALLER FORGETS TO INSTALL DRAIN HOSE!

    This likely qualifies for zero stars. Installer came, installed washer and dryer. 1st installer walked my wife through washer start-up where HE started washer and had her complete paperwork. Problem is HE FORGOT TO INSTALL THE DRAIN HOSE! Shortly after they left, our upstairs laundry room flooded, soaking through floor and damaging down stair office ceiling. Had to get up remaining water best we could ourselves. Called Best Buy support to send person back out and 2nd installer came back out and admitted to 1st installer "forgetting". Best Buy said we contract this out and to "just respond to customer survey" to file complaint which was never received. So replying to this review as my method of review and resolution. Photos attached.

    the delivery guy was kind of in a bad mood and did not seem like he wanted to stack my washer and dryer. at first he told me it could not be done because the cord was not long enough but once we got it stacked I had over 2 feet to spare. I don't know what he was talking about. in the end we got it done the way we had planned from the beginning when we purchase.

    Property damage at install and terrible customers

    This is going on 1 month since the installation of the washer and dryer. The installers broke the existing new drip pan and didn't report it to anyone except us. We called the next day since you weren't open to handle the issue the same day. We called and/or emailed at least once a week and keep getting the same runaround. I've spent close to 8 hours on this issue and absolutely no one is willing to resolve it or at least compensate me for the time spent. There will be a charge back at this point (this is the 6th warning) in order to cover the cost of the item, the plumber, the time, and the headache that this has caused. This photo was taken on 6/11/21 to prove that nothing has been handled since the 5/17/21 installation.

    Geek squad came to my house 3 times to level the newwasher and dryer i bought but not one brought a level or wrench or the knowledge of how to level the machines. I did it myself..sad

    Incomplete Washer Install & Poor Service Recovery

    The crew arrived and installed the washer as expected. They were not very friendly, but we didn’t hold that against them. They began a test wash to ensure everything was functioning properly, but they left well the test wash was still in process. Moments after they left the washer started to leak. We contacted the Best Buy Geek Squad to request they send someone out today to fix the job we had paid for which was incomplete & now, potentially causing water damage to our brand new floors. They provided a cold, generic response & said that the soonest they could have someone come out to assess the issue within 3 days. When I asked this to be escalated, they said that there was nothing else they could do.

    Delivery person (Cody) not nice nor does he treat peoples property. He took all kinds of measurements and didn’t tell me the refrigerator was too big he brought it in and said you have to cut your counter top

    Installers did not test the washer operation

    Although the 2 gentlemen who delivered & installed my washer & dryer were very nice, they did not test that the washer was functioning correctly. In the evening I put in a load of towels as a first wash, the washer gave a warning signal when it was filling and locked up. After going through the troubleshooting in the manual, discovered the code it showed as a restricted flow and suggested I check for kinked hoses. I moved the washer enough to see behind it and discovered they were indeed kinked and tangled. The only way I could stop the warning sound going off every few minutes was to unplug the machine. I am unable to get the door open to get my clothes out so they are held captive in the washer. I now have to wait until 10 a.m. this morning to get someone to come out and repair what was not done right the first time.

    Hot/Cold water connections backwards

    The installers were nice, but they mixed up the hot and cold water connections! Only ruined 2 loads of wash before I eventually figured out the problem -- several white items are now green/aqua colored! Just in case you were curious, attached are pictures of what happens to white clothes when they are washed AND rinsed in hot water! So glad I hadn't tested the steam function on my dryer that was also mistakenly connected to the hot water line!

    HORRIBLE! I would NEVER pay for this service again! The Installer did not bring the correct parts, left my dryer in the box, and told my wife that it wasn’t his problem and to contact Best Buy and left! After trying to contact Best Buy and getting disconnected, transferred to the wrong person I finally gave up! An ABSOLUTE horrible experience from Best Buy from delivery, install, to customer service after the sale!

    Initially we were charged for 3 installs when it was supposed to be 2 (washer/dryer). We finally had a scheduled date and time and arranged our work schedules to be available for the install/haul away. They came early and said they could not install until our water valves were replaced. They said to call back when the valve was replaced and left the new washer and dryer sitting in our formal living room. Now Best Buy says they can’t reschedule for another 3 days so we are stuck with a washer dryer sitting in our formal Living room and will now need to wait until they come back three days from now to install/haul away. If I knew this would be an issue, I wouldn’t have paid for this and went somewhere else. This is a huge inconvenience.

    Washing machine 2nd installation by the delivery and installation crew was a mess!!! My husband had to climb behind the washer necause hed had to switch the cold and hit water connection hoses because the installation guys erroneously switched them!!! As a result, it ruined a whole load of "delicate" cycle cold-wash-only load!!!

    Horrible! They did not arrive in an entire day for the appointment that was made multiple times! Then they installed the washer with the travel bolts and packing tape all over it. After running it one time and it literally wobbled its way out of the laundry room and about pulled the hose off the wall. It scratched up my floor now Bestbuy installation won't even call me back. They even setup new appointments to fix things and then they still never show up. I'm not sure what is going on BestBuy but this reminds me of Comcast customer service many years ago. Never again

    awkward doors

    Washer on the right and and dryer on the left. Doors open into each other. Installer would not install them the other way around stating that they were required to install washer closest to the water service. They are right next to each other and the hoses would easily reach. He was struggling to move them, they are heavy, but be honest and install properly. Get additional help if necessary to properly install. The driver could have helped and remained in the truck.
