Before and after i did it

I did it myself..sad

Property damage at install and terrible customers

The installers broke the existing new drip pan and didn't report it to anyone except us. We called the next day since you weren't open to handle the issue the same day. We called and/or emailed at least once a week and keep getting the same runaround. I've spent close to 8 hours on this issue and absolutely no one is willing to resolve it or at least compensate me for the time spent. There will be a charge back at this point (this is the 6th warning) in order to cover the cost of the item, the plumber, the time, and the headache that this has caused. This photo was taken on 6/11/21 to prove that nothing has been handled since the 5/17/21 installation.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.the delivery guy was kind of in a bad mood and did not seem like he wanted to stack my washer and dryer. at first he told me it could not be done because the cord was not long enough but once we got it stacked I had over 2 feet to spare. I don't know what he was talking about. in the end we got it done the way we had planned from the beginning when we purchase.

Incomplete Washer Install & Poor Service Recovery

They were not very friendly, but we didn’t hold that against them. They began a test wash to ensure everything was functioning properly, but they left well the test wash was still in process. Moments after they left the washer started to leak. We contacted the Best Buy Geek Squad to request they send someone out today to fix the job we had paid for which was incomplete & now, potentially causing water damage to our brand new floors. They provided a cold, generic response & said that the soonest they could have someone come out to assess the issue within 3 days. When I asked this to be escalated, they said that there was nothing else they could do.

Samsung Washing Machine Install Fiasco!!!

My husband had to climb behind the washer necause hed had to switch the cold and hit water connection hoses because the installation guys erroneously switched them!!! As a result, it ruined a whole load of "delicate" cycle cold-wash-only load!!!

He took all kinds of measurements and didn’t tell me the refrigerator was too big he brought it in and said you have to cut your counter top

New Washing Machine install wrong

Late delivery (3) hours, damaged to my carpet on the stairs. Washing machine holes was connected wrong and they had to use my tools. Not a professional team at all.

HORRIBLE

The Installer did not bring the correct parts, left my dryer in the box, and told my wife that it wasn’t his problem and to contact Best Buy and left! After trying to contact Best Buy and getting disconnected, transferred to the wrong person I finally gave up! An ABSOLUTE horrible experience from Best Buy from delivery, install, to customer service after the sale!

Hot/Cold water connections backwards

Only ruined 2 loads of wash before I eventually figured out the problem -- several white items are now green/aqua colored! Just in case you were curious, attached are pictures of what happens to white clothes when they are washed AND rinsed in hot water! So glad I hadn't tested the steam function on my dryer that was also mistakenly connected to the hot water line!

They ran a cycle without hooking up water outlet

I made sure to ask if they needed any tools and to let us know but they said they have everything. Everything to cause water damage!

Installers did not test the washer operation
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Although the 2 gentlemen who delivered & installed my washer & dryer were very nice, they did not test that the washer was functioning correctly. In the evening I put in a load of towels as a first wash, the washer gave a warning signal when it was filling and locked up. After going through the troubleshooting in the manual, discovered the code it showed as a restricted flow and suggested I check for kinked hoses. I moved the washer enough to see behind it and discovered they were indeed kinked and tangled. The only way I could stop the warning sound going off every few minutes was to unplug the machine. I am unable to get the door open to get my clothes out so they are held captive in the washer. I now have to wait until 10 a.m. this morning to get someone to come out and repair what was not done right the first time.

Then they installed the washer with the travel bolts and packing tape all over it. After running it one time and it literally wobbled its way out of the laundry room and about pulled the hose off the wall. It scratched up my floor now Bestbuy installation won't even call me back. They even setup new appointments to fix things and then they still never show up. I'm not sure what is going on BestBuy but this reminds me of Comcast customer service many years ago. Never again

Do not recommend

We finally had a scheduled date and time and arranged our work schedules to be available for the install/haul away. They came early and said they could not install until our water valves were replaced. They said to call back when the valve was replaced and left the new washer and dryer sitting in our formal living room. Now Best Buy says they can’t reschedule for another 3 days so we are stuck with a washer dryer sitting in our formal Living room and will now need to wait until they come back three days from now to install/haul away. If I knew this would be an issue, I wouldn’t have paid for this and went somewhere else. This is a huge inconvenience.

awkward doors

Doors open into each other. Installer would not install them the other way around stating that they were required to install washer closest to the water service. They are right next to each other and the hoses would easily reach. He was struggling to move them, they are heavy, but be honest and install properly. Get additional help if necessary to properly install. The driver could have helped and remained in the truck.

Washer and dryer/dishwasher

Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.They should install it, but drop it off, bought stacking tools which they forgot also, the service was horrible and the appointment kept being delayed, never again, I have informed my children their wives and husband grands, and everyone that is associated know not to buy anything from there and they already know my experience, also the dish washer had a crack in it, sometimes you just have to count your loses even though you paid good money and work hard for it

Washer was installed incorrectly and flooded my house. Installed as stacked and took 2 tries to get this right first delivery stacking kit was broken. Don’t get a washer and dryer at Best Buy. One of the worst experiences I have had in a long time

This is not how it's supposed to be

It shouldn't take multiple pairs of installers to put 1 washer pedestal under 1 washing machine. One of these dynamic duos actually put the washer on top of the pedestal but failed to use all the brackets and didn't tighten any bolts. Thankfully the machine wasn't used before I discovered their shoddy work. The next pair of installers couldn't finish the installation because the previous pair had taken 2 of the brackets and most of the bolts with them!??? Just a tragic comedy at this point.

Faulty installation left us with a water puddle
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.After the installation, during the first (and subsequent) run, I'm noticing a pool of water forming out of the bottom of the washer. Seems to be an issue with the setup. I wish we had requested the installation person to stay for the full duration of the first cycle but he insisted he had many other appointments to get to, and we understand life happens so we thanked him and let him go. Guess we need to be more direct with such installations, to prevent such issues! Now I'm stuck cleaning up this puddle Everytime I run the washer.

There was a huge miscommunication and instead of attempting to work through it- they got huffy with us. As if that wasn't bad enough- both my washer and dryer were terribly scratched up and we ended up returning the whole order. I know that not ALL the BB installers are this bad, but we have a choice, and it will never be BB again.

Poor Installation

They used a twist tie instead of the Part which I paid for (seen in the picture circled in RED) The dryer vent should have come outside, they did not try, was crushed, and not clamped correctly as well as the gas line. I had to fix it correctly myself. I called to complain, left a message with the individual, never heard back. Why pay for Install?
