Nice box opening experience with minimal packaging and instructions included on small foldout that are simple and to the point. The feel of the stand is very sturdy and well made. The cord management system underneath the stand is intense and very functional. The hub fits very tightly in the opening on the stand but you have to push strongly to fit it in. The cutouts on the stand are perfectly designed so the speaker and power plug are not compromised. The adjustability of the stand is flexible to move the hub around left and right and up and down without much effort. Even though the movement is smooth and easy, the stand stays in the desired position. This is a much needed and excellent upgrade to the Google Hub 2nd edition.

A miniature of Wasserstein's Hub Max Stand

This stand is a perfect miniature version of their stand for the Hub Max - Its perfect for my Home Hub (2nd Gen) device on my nightstand. Really looking forward to the durability and quality I get from my other stand. It raises the devices about 2 inches and allows for rotational and pitch adjustment of the screen. It holds the device and its cabling securely and provides some cable management for the length of the cord in shorter reach applications. 5/5 stars! Highly recommend! Google should just buy these guys and add these accessories as the official parts!

Nest Hub at the Wrong Angle? SORTED!

For an accessory for something kind of mundane... I was surprised by how much I needed/wanted this product. If you find your nest hub isn't fully visible, or you wish you could slightly adjust the angle; you'll find that big brother Google has shorted us in that respect. Enter the Wasserstein stand. There are a lot of positives here, the stand gets the screen up in the air, it has some integrated cable management to shorten the cord if you're feeling like there is just way too much there. I'm struggling a little with the look. It's.... modern art weird. They definitely decided that one portion of the stand was going to be the back and one was going to be the front The problem is that I disagree with both these choices. The flat spot on the base isn't meant to tuck it closer to the wall, it's designed to keep it from sticking out farther. The top portion of the stand is separated by a vase/funnel shape that allows the top portion to swivel as well. This is part of the strange appearance. Also, the top portion has a definite front and back in terms of holding on to the hub itself, but this is accompanied by a hard stop on the swivel. If you install the hub in the direction they intended and face it the way they intended, the range of motion for tilting is limited by the stops and might not be where you want it to go. All of this being said, it's well made and does the job. I just find I have... different opinions about how it should be done.

Returning. I thought it automatically adjusted. when you manually adjust it it falls out out the stand which defeat the purpose when I can easily adjust it with my hand without it falling causing damage.

The cord was never a big issue for me but it's better to have the option to hide it now. When I first got my nest I originally thought it was supposed to do everything that it does now with this stand as far a tilting & things like that. It also saves me a little more space on my night stand.

    Perfect stand

I keep my Nest Hub on top of one of my desk speakers which has an angled top. Not ideal, but the only place it fits at the moment. Because of the angle I didn't have the best viewing angle. Along comes the Wasserstein stand. It's a simple device and requires no real installation. Just drop the hub onto the top and youre ready to go. There's a perfect cut-out for the speaker and nothing is permanent, so you can remove the hub whenever you want. The base is nicely weighted so that moving the Hub is a one-handed affair. You don't need to hold the base steady. You can tilt up and down and swivel side to side for the perfect angle. Unlike the ball-and-socket type stands, you cannot adjust the Hub on an angle. One thing i noticed is that it was slowly sliding down the angled top of my speaker. On further investigation I realized there is shipping film on the rubber feet on the bottom. Once I removed the tabs it had plenty of traction.

This is one of those items that you don’t really think there’s a need for until you try it. It’s a great little stand. I keep my Nest Hub on my desk and pencil cups, phone charging stand, etc. tend to start blocking the display. The stand raises up the hub. It also allows for adjusting the angle. This came in handy for adjusting the glare on the screen. I’m happy with it.

This is a simple little product but I really like having it. My Google home sits on a ledge of a pass-through window between my family room and kitchen. I use it in both rooms and I’m constantly having to turn it and adjust depending on what room I’m in. Having the swivel base makes it super simple to use between rooms without the risk of knocking it off the counter, which I’ve come close to doing more than once. It also sits at a bit of an angle so that it’s easier to see the screen on my raised ledge. Depending on how you’re using this Google home this could be a very useful little tool to add to it and to make it that much more functional, especially between rooms.
