  • Killed Arlo Camera Battery

    I have Arlo brand solar panels that have worked for years. This one never worked right out of the box. Took a 100% charged camera and dropped it to zero in a few hours. Thought it was the camera so I tried it with a few others, same problem. It actually harmed the life of the battery. Tried to charge other things like old tablets/phones, it showed the "charging" symbol, but it never increased the %. Should have returned but purchased online, didn't know how to return at the time. Oh well! Stay away!!!

    I had this hooked up for a week. Period. Arlo updated the firmware on the cameras and it made the pulse charging that this solar panel supplies worthless. I now only use it to power up backup batteries as the manufacturer won't replace it help me out.

    Camera is out of reach, so I purchased the solar panel to keep the camera fully charged. So far it is working well.

    Constant "a charging fault has been detected". Used in full sun, different cameras. Always fails. Arlo ones worked perfectly.
