The weather has been continually cloudy and rainy but there is just enough sunshine for the solar panel to perform. This is a replacement for the Arlo panel that became flooded with water after two years, so I'm hoping this one lasts longer.

Useless solar panel charger - does not work.

Owned for 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Had to buy the Wasserstein solar panel for my Arlo Pro 2 cameras since BestBuy does not sell the compatible Arlo brand versions. This solar panel does not work - in fact it drains the battery much faster than without it, rendering it useless. My camera drained 100% of its battery in 2 days when hooked up to the solar panel - normally it would take 2-3 weeks without it. Don't bother purchasing. Others have provided similar reviews but I decided to try it out anyway and ultimately they were right.

It can absorb the most solar energy when it is in full sunlight for as much of the day as possible. The Solar Panel harvests energy from the sun to charge a connected Arlo camera.
2. Make sure that your solar panel is pointed toward the sun and is not obstructed by trees, buildings, or other obstacles.
3. Sudden changes in temperature may affect your Solar Panel’s charging abilities.
4. The USB charging cable is snugly connected to your camera.
5. The batteries have been fully charged to 100% before being connected to the solar panel.
6. Please take note that the Solar Panel is designed to keep your Arlo camera’s battery fully charged but heavy usage of your camera can drain the camera battery faster than the solar panel can recharge it.
Additionally, because of Arlo’s firmware updates, you will need to update to the latest APP to see the screenshot to show the solar panel is charging.

Work Good

Prior to buying I noticed it had mixed reviews but I have to say that so far they have worked great and I no longer have to work about having to charge the cameras every week. I would give these a shot if you are looking to save some money.

Disappointing drained battery.

Very inconvenient as I bought this to not have to worry about climbing a ladder to plug in a extension cord and charge it from a outlet.

Electric was not available so this was a nice addition to the camera. I no longer have to concern myself with removing and charging the battery.

Waste of Money

The other brand charged for one day maybe two and I only had it for a week. I’m very disappointed and they should be pulled from shelves. I didn’t think saving money I would lose quality.

Great Solar Panel

Not for Arlo Go!

I bought two of them and neither would charge my Arlo Go but both do charge my Arlo Pro's. It seems to be a sturdy, good device for regular charging of other devices but because it will not charge an Arlo Go I have to give it a low ranking...
