    After a few months, my Wasserstein solar panel will not charge my Arlo Ultra camera. The pins in the connector are too short to make contact with my camera's connectors. I purchase the solar panels from Best Buy as a package deal, not realizing that Arlo has their own solar panel that they support. So guess what! No support from Wasserstein...

    Solor panels are a must with the Arlo cameras. These are a great alternative to the higher priced factory Arlo units. CONS, it seemed like it took a little longer to charge compared to the Arlo ones but once it fully charged the camera I never had a problem. Also the mount and connection to the panel seem a little cheap and I can see with time and sun damage they will become brittle.

      Thanks for the feedback. You may also do the following:

      1. The Solar Panel is consistently in direct sunlight. It can absorb the most solar energy when it is in full sunlight for as much of the day as possible. The Solar Panel harvests energy from the sun to charge a connected Arlo camera.
      2. Make sure that your solar panel is pointed toward the sun and is not obstructed by trees, buildings, or other obstacles.
      3. Sudden changes in temperature may affect your Solar Panel’s charging abilities.
      4. The magnetic charging cable is snugly connected to your camera.
      5. The batteries have been fully charged to 100% before being connected to the solar panel.
      6. Please take note that Solar Panel is designed to keep your Arlo camera’s battery fully charged but heavy usage of your camera can drain the camera battery faster than the solar panel can recharge it.

      Additionally, because of Arlo’s firmware updates, you will need to update to the latest APP to see the screenshot to show the solar panel is charging.

    They work great. They keep the cameras charged. Before getting these, I had to get a ladder, bring them down and charge them for at least 1-2 hours.

    Works great, installed it 6 months ago and have not had to do a thing since then. Held up just fine during storms and strong winds. I am tired of having to charge the other camera and am getting another panel. Highly recommended.

    Excellent solar panels for the Arlo Ultra 2 security camera for half the price of the original Arlo. Save charging time and continuous charge so I can rest assure it will always be charged to detect motion and voice.
