Solar Panel

A great value for my SimpliSafe exterior camera.

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this solar panel to trickle charge my SimpliSafe exterior security camera and so far it is doing that perfectly. My ONLY real issue is that the mounting options are limited. My camera faces north and to get the solar panel pointed south I had to make a mount on my facia and screw a board 30" in length to it (I figured in 12" for snow) and then I was able to connect the camera to the panel with about 2' of the included cord. Only time will tell if the plastic parts will hold up to the UV and weather, but the price was certainly inexpensive.

Just as good as the name brand!

Owned for 6 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.When looking at the name brand version, I refused to pay what they wanted, but didn’t want the hassle of having to change the outdoor camera batteries all the time. This is just as good and half the price!

Hit or miss

They all get the same or very similar sun, so I can’t really tell why that’s the case. Either way, they were a solid enough purchase that I’d recommend them, but just be warned they’re not perfect.
