This power adapter connects to the charging port meant for the solar panel and it works well. It's a great alternative to the wired Spotlight Cam if you don't have wiring for it. However, be aware that the options for the battery powered Spotlight Cam does differ from the wired Spotlight Cam. The wired Spotlight Cam lets you set geometrical shaped motion zones for detection, whereas the battery version only allows for three motion detection areas (left/right/center) and distance control (at least today - maybe Ring will update it to allow more in the future). The cable length should be more than enough for most installations and the plug has the screw holes to secure it to the camera so don't lose or discard the tiny pack of tiny screws that come in the box.

I purchased this item because I was unable to use the solar panel for changing my Ring Spotlight Camera.. when there is no open space with sunlight this charger is the best option.

These are a great alternative to the Ring cables. I use them for 2 cameras. I have batteries in both and it charges them and keeps the Ring cameras open.

This wall charger eliminates the need to remove and charge my Ring Camera batteries.

Good quality, decent size and I would definitely recommend!

To be able to keep the batteries charged for the motion sensor cameras is a great option so we don't have to worry about dead batteries while we are away for extended time periods.

Love it, wish I would've done this last year when I made my initial investment.
