I’ve been playing this game for about a couple of weeks now on the Xbox Series X and there are a few things you should know before buying it. Gameplay wise, it’s an interesting take by allowing you to play as literally any person in London, but realistically you’re probably going to stick with one character that has the best stats. Perhaps it’s because I’m playing on normal difficulty, but I’ve found the game incredibly easy by exploiting the poor AI and using the spider bot to incapacitate most of the enemies and using the cargo drone to perch myself on rooftops for easy takedowns. The story itself presents some dark material similar to The Division, but then the characters mostly make jokes about it and ruins the narrative a bit. But the worst things about this game are the bugs, two of which I consider game breaking. The worst bug is the game’s inability to auto save while online: my first time playing I went for about 6 hours before getting off, and I returned I noticed I lost about 7 hours of progress. The only way that I’ve found to save progress is to uninstall Ubisoft Connect and switch my console to offline mode, which is awful since none of the Xbox Live features will work and I cannot talk with friends. Multiple complaints have been made about it, which apparently has been going on since launch date, yet Ubisoft doesn’t provide any information about when a fix is coming. It really is a simple fix: Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla, also made by Ubisoft, gives you the option to create manual saves; the developers could at least give us that while they work out the auto save issue. Finally, some missions are bugged to the point where they cannot be completed and force you to quit the game. For example, there’s a side mission that requires you to hack different cameras to pull information by moving from one camera to the next. The problem is that not only does it not let you do that, but you can’t even back out of the one you started with. The pause menu doesn’t work either when this happens, so you’re forced to completely reboot the game and avoid that mission until it’s also fixed. I want to like this game, but the bugs are really frustrating.

I didn’t like this one as much as its predecessor. The whole deal with choosing different hackers to play with and “everyone can be used” sounded like a fun gimmick, but I found myself missing the original anti-hero and building them up instead.

Great game as expected with a long and concrete story line. This keeps growing the Watch Dogs narrative. Can't wait to see a possible next step up from them. Great graphics too

Its clearly a Ubisoft game and i loved the last two Watch Dogs games. Finally had time to install and boot it up. Looks ok, the setup is interesting and it came with bonus codes for additional characters that were at launch unavailable.

Love watch dogs series. It plays great on Xbox Series X with Ray tracing enabled other than that it is a typical Ubisoft open world game so if you played one you know what to expect. The story is OK but the recruit anyone system actually works well.

Gameplay is good, though a bit repetitive. I love running around in London after visiting not long ago; if you know the city already, it navigates as if you were there. If you've never been, you could basically play tourist all day in the game. Clever mechanics behind character creation/control. However, it is buggy...I've had more crashes with this game than any other in recent memory. So it might make sense to hold off on a purchase until those issues have been patched.

Love it. The city is so beautiful. So many characters to play. The story is interesting. So many cars to drive and things to hack. Binge playing this all the time. Highlight of my day.

This game is pretty fun and has a cool take on London. The huge open world is fun to explore while recruiting new people to join the cause. The only issue I’ve run into is with HDR10 enabled on my Xbox. The lighting in the game world will flicker, most noticeably during the daytime. The lighting will go from bright to dim and back to bright. I don’t have this issue with any other games so I’m assuming it’s a graphical issue with Legion. I was able to fix this problem by turning off HDR10 in my Xbox settings.

I'm not sure about $60 but $30 makes it a must buy. Like all watch dog games the developers try new gameplay mechanics which make it fun and unique

Great game. Love the open world. Does get a bit repetitive and I prefer WD2 more but this one is still fun just to mess around the city in.

Bought this game cheaply thinking it'd just be something I play once and put down to never touch again. I was wrong. This game is nothing like the first game and shares only some similarities to the second game but somehow in an over the top, crazy fun way, this game works. I highly recommend giving it a shot, just don't expect the dark overtones of Watch Dogs 1 in there.
