This set is great for true fans. The film is far from perfect, but as complex as the graphic novel is structured, I don't know that this ultimate cut could've have turned out any better. As much heat as Zack Snyder takes for his movies, there's no denying how much love, effort and detail went in to making Watchmen. This ultimate cut and all the extra features are all Watchmen fans could ever ask for.

this box set is a must have for any die hard fans of this movie. It doesn't have a lot of the same special features as the directors cut has, so if you are a real die hard fan, you'll want to hang on to both.

Really good film adaption of the original "graphic novel". Whatever--it's a comic book movie. The pages acting as obvious storyboards for the filming process, as if hollywood wasn't lazy enough. Movie stays true to the feel and tone of the source material--which is indeed included in this nicely packaged set as a hard bound, paper "graphic novel". Also includes the DVD and BD versions of the film. The Black Freighter is a weird comic story woven into the narrative which does break up the movies pacing but fits thematically with outer world settings.
