This water filter is great and last for 6 months. The only drawback is the price. It’s about $50.

I preferred to use the recommended products that come with the refrigerator to avoid negatively affecting the warranty. It's much better to use products that have been tested, proven to work and last. Keeps the water fresh and is easy to install. We drink refrigerator water instead of tap water. A great filter for well water. Didn't realize the difference until we finally switched to the new filter. Not only was the water smoother/silkier, it even dispensed faster from the fridge...not that it was slow before. Was irritated paying so much for a filter at first, but once it was in place and we saw the difference it made, it was worth it.

It's a water filter that must be replaced every six months and your refrigerator will let you know by constantly blinking. Best Buy will price match so I strongly encourage you to do your homework. Make sure you follow directions and run about 2 gallons through it after replacement to get all the air out of the line.

Easy install, and filters water. Haven't had any issues. It is a tad expensive though.

Most filters say they work for so many days and at the end they don't but this one lasted close to the amount of time it said it would. Plus It didn't make my ice or water taste funny. It was very easy to put on nothing extra nothing hard. It was great.

Easy install and it appears to last long. i have noticed a difference in the taste of the water for the better. Definitely better than going the after market route. helpful to able to go in and see item to confirm model # and fitment.

This filter is the bees knees. Aluminum? Gone! Fluoride? Gone! Chloramine (or chlorine depending on the time of year)? Gone! The water coming out my fridge is so delicious now that even my wife drinks it. She's a bit of a water snob and only drinks bottled water. With this filter, she can't tell the difference! That's a win-win right there. A win for the recycling guys that no longer have to empty that giant recycle bin on wheels filled with empty water bottles every week, and a win for my wallet since I don't have to buy bottled water by the pallet any more!

This is a water filter for my new LG fridge. It fit into its slot perfectly. The instructions were straight forward and really, a no-brainer. My water is filtered and tastes like absolutely nothing--perfect.

This is a review of the product as well as the lightning fast shipping. First, I must say I considered buying this product from Amazon but decided to purchase it from Bestbuy.com and I'm happy I did. I signed up for the subscription service because of the great price and selected 2 day shipping. To my surprise and delight, the filter shipped in less than an hour after my purchase and I received it at my home the next day. I am thoroughly pleased with receiving it so fast and will continue the subscription service. As for the filter, it arrived packaged well and as described. The install was easy and I haven't had any performance issues with it at all. I would give this experience 10 stars if I could.

LG water filter is great. nice clear water and the water tastes real good. We tried generic versions , the water had an after taste, so we will only by the Lg filter a little pricey but worth it.

This is the filter that is recommended for our LG refrigerator. We have found it easy to install and very effective in filtering our water. Would highly recommend it. People in the appliance dept very helpful!

This filter keeps my water tasting great without looking cloudy in my glass. The ice cubes taste great too! I don't like the taste of watem the facet. And it is so easy to install.

Works perfectly! It was quite easy to uninstall the old filter and replace it with the new filter. The filter makes regular tapwater taste great
