The LG water filter was easy to remove and replace. The water has an unpleasant charcoal aftertaste although I did flush quite a bit of water through the system prior to tasting it.

I use the filter because it was the one that came with my refrigerator... I am extremely happy with it as there is no bad taste to my water or my ice.

LG is a high quality product. The water filter for the LG refrigerator ensures that my investment continues to perform with no problems.

I have tried the non brand varieties of this product. Yes they are cheaper but not as effective as the one made especially for this fridge.

Great product. Filters easily located in Best Buy by the appliances. Easy to remove old filter and install new filter. Really prefer the location of this filter in my fridge compared to where other filters are located in previous fridges. Great tasting water and ice when using the filter. Only downside is the price of filter but compared to other comparable filters they are about the same.

lg filter works excellent. it lasted 6 months and we liked the water and ice quality. after 6 months it was time for a new filter.

We use the water filter for our drinking water and to make coffee. Water tastes good and we feel that we are doing a good thing for ourselves

This filter works plain and simple. While you might find some aftermarket alternatives this seems to work for longer periods of time. A little more on the pricey side but hey.

What can I say? It's a water filter, doesn't leak. We get really good tasting water from this filter. I think $50 for a water filter is high, but they know you need it.
