Does what it says i suppose, which is great! I have 2025/24 samsung with a liitle bit of tech...like tell you when its time to change the filter...says it rated up to 300gal and the fridge was dead on the 6mo. mark and i assume it will in the future. This thing is $50 smackers man, thats $100/yr and its not so easy on a samsung fridge, seems you have to find the shut-off valve to relieve water pressure or you'll make a mess 'trying'....it does what it says and im sure a quality product....just rather go by-the-gallon and not 6mo increments and see where it gets me...

Ive read Amazon ratings on knockoff brands for these Samsung water filter refills and the reviews are too mixed to risk trying to save an extra buck. The reviews range from funny taste, to leaks, to having to retrofit the things. Even though it seems a little expensive, I’ll pass on the nightmares and stick to the required OEM replacement. The water tastes great and it’s a simple pull out the old and push in the new. I like that simplicity.

This filter is easy to install and my filtered water and ice is great. I like the months sticker label to remind you when to replace.

It took a youtube video to make sure I was correctly removing the old filter and inserting the new one. It tastes better than bottled water and is worth. The filter does its job.

Original replacement for my Samsung fridge, very easy to install and you can even check the authenticity of the product very easily. The water taste is good, although the price is kind of high, it's definitely worth it.
