The Waterpik Ultra certainly does the job it’s intended to do. The unit is compact, the water stream power is sufficient, and the different tip options is a plus. The unit is loud, but I think that’s expected of all water flossers. The only thing that I would change is 1. Make the tube connecting the sprayer to the unit a little longer, and 2. Make it default to have the unit spray once a button is pushed, not have the spray once you turn it on unless you hold the pause button. Other than that, great device to keep your teeth clean and free of debris.

I had been thinking of getting one of these for quite some time. My son recently got braces, and that is when I decided to buy it. It comes with an orthodontic tip to help get food particles from around the brackets. I use it to help keep my gums clean. You will still need to floss, because it will not get the food particles completely from between your teeth. I do feel a difference in clean after I use it. It does take some practice on using it. Yes it makes noise, but my garbage disposal is way louder. I will often add some mouthwash to the water, or some of the left over antibacterial wash I got when I had my wisdom tooth removed.

I really like that this product comes with multiple attachments to try for whatever works best for you, the only thing I don't like as much is the small water reservoir, overall this is a great product and I really like it.

Even though we floss brush and use mouthwash at home, I was looking for something better to get everything out of the little pockets between the gum and teeth. This machine has great pressure, lots of picks for different uses and plenty of space for water. My son likes it for the braces, I like it for my rear molars and if you have a crown you can use this instead of floss just to be safe. Got in on sale for $49.99. Save your Best Buy points and get this for your teeth and gums. Your whole family will benefit.

i ordered this for my sister, who recently had a bridge installed and had difficulty cleaning between the bridge and her gums. She had resisted getting a water pik but once I showed her how to use it and she got used to it, she loves it. It makes her mouth feel clean and flushes out all the food that gets stuck between her teeth. I have on also, which I've used for years and it's so much easier and more thorough than using dental floss.

I have always used floss to take care of my teeth. However, getting older, my teeth needed more attention and my dentist recommended that I use a waterpik to get to those really hard to reach places. WOW what a difference. I like that I was able to adjust the stream and there were various types of attachments to choose from. The tank also has markings on the side to let you know how much water to use for a specific time (1 - 2 min) My kids love using it too.

Visited my dentist in NY my yearly cleaning and was told that I need to floss more. So I hate those little flossing rods so I visited Best Buy store and website and looked for the best flossing tool and reviews and came up with this one. This tool is so powerful just like the machine in my dentist office very powerful. You cannot take it up to the highest level because it would break the top layer and you would bleed. Also it has different attachments that is useful and they tuck away very nicely.

This waterpik checks all the boxes. Its easy to use, great water pressure and holds enough water for 2 to 3 uses. i will admit its kinda large but that's probably because it holds so much water. If I had two improvements it would be to be not so big and maybe have the lid attached to the device. But those suggestions are really minor. Would highly recommend

I know i should substitute actual flossing for this, but i do. It does clean a lot of trapped food between my teeth, and i have been running it across my gum line too. After a few weeks my gums went from red to pink so i think it has helped out gum health

I was not nearly diligent enough in keeping up with traditional flossing, so when I began considering this as an alternative I checked with my dentist who said not only was water flossing very effective, she recommended that I choose a model with a big water reservoir, as this one has. I find it much easier and comfortable to manipulate the water jet into my gums than I ever did the string, so consequently I floss MUCH more often. I liked it so much that I actually went back and bought one as a gift for a family member. I would have given it five stars (vs four) except that is that it's a bit noisy at the higher settings - but even with that, I wouldn't want to be without it!

This device thoroughly cleans my gums without feeling like they’re being viciously scraped my a debridement tool. I now can say I like water picks. My gums are clean and free from potential pain.

I purchased this after a suggestion from my dentist. I've used it for a couple of weeks and in one sense don't know what it is really doing for me. On the other hand, after using i see little pieces of food in the sink which I hadn't seen nor felt before using. If I floss after using the Waterpik I I don't see any additional particles, so it looks like it does a great job. It is a little messy, but it's just water so no problem. I like to use it when I feel like snacking in the evening instead of giving in. My mouth then feels clean and I don't give in to the urge to snack,,,Ha! Ha! (Unintended benefit!)

I recently had full mouth dental implants done...top and bottom. While the implants are great, cleaning the natural gum under them can be a challenge. My dentist recommended getting a Waterpik. It's gentle and cleans food out of very hard to reach place while at the same time massaging gums. Add a bit of listerine to the water and you are set. Adjustable pressure is great for different areas of the mouth. I would totally recommend this. In fact going to by the portable one for travel.

I purchased this oral floss to treat my dental sensitivity. I use it daily after lunch instead of brushing a third time daily. I keep it handy on my kitchen counter where I can get water to microwave for 1 minute so it is comfortably warm. Since I bought this oral floss or I noticed that you can buy an oral jet toothbrush but I prefer having a separate appliance. I recommend this product because it is easy to use and has settings to adjust the strength of the water jet.

My dental hygenist suggested this as a way to floss. I've always thought that people who used water picks were lazy. I will say that I was wrong. This is a fantastic item that makes cleaning between your teeth a breeze. I started midway in terms of pressure and now turned it up all the way. I appreciate how clean my teeth are after using this. I can even have steak if I use this that whole situation is as clean as a whistle.

Worked really well. The attachments slide right in, it’s easy to work and clean up. Once you’re done, you can hide it away or leave it on the counter. It only takes up a small amount of space.

Once you prime the pump it quieter and remember keep your lips togather the switch on the wand is great so you can spit out the water with no mess my only concern is the power cord was not long enough for easy placement in my bathroom

Easy to use, clean good, not to loud. Does not take up a lot of space.
