  • Poor Workmanship

    In February 2015 I purchased a Waterpik Model WP-660. I used it mostly twice daily until December 2024 when the pump motor died. Up to that time there were no problems with the unit. I replaced it with a model WP-100. After about three months the plug in the tank of the new flosser began to leak. Waterpik sells two replacement plugs for $20 including shipping and tax and suggests replacing the plugs every three months. My experience shows Waterpik knows how to make a long lasting plug. The apparent planned obsolescence is an adequate reason not to buy this flosser or any other Waterpik product.

    It is messy, work good until out of warranty then stops. I have 2 of them. So just plan on replacing it after 2 to 3 years.

    The product would be great if it were backed by a reputable company. I have used a waterpik since I had major dental surgery in 1965!!! I love it. But I am now switching to Philips Sonicare because I have found Waterpik does not stand by is products. I have a unit I purchased last September. Two weeks ago the switch on the handle stopped working and it could be turned on and off only from base unit. I requested a refund or replacement since the item was so new. First they made me go through time-consuming "troubleshooting" steps. Then their solution is to send me a new handle and hose which I, then, have to replace, even though I told them I did not want that. Any reputable company would realize that this is a lemon, apologize and ship out a new unit as quickly as possible. I am throwing a $97 unit in the trash and buying a Philips Sonicare. Avoid Waterpik as they refuse to stand by their product.

    It was working fine until after three months of operation the PAUSE button got stuck and you can't operate it any more. Will call customer service tomorrow and let you know how it went. It is an important addition to mouth hygiene - buy this model seems problematic.

    I had one of these Water Piks for over 10 years, great product, finally the hose just broke off. The unit is still working great. I thought fine, I'll just get a new unit. Not only are they more expensive than the used to be... but the new models are complete junk! They weigh half as much as the older model, motor is clunky and loud and sounds extremely poor quality. Much disappointed. Seems they don't make anything like they used to. Returning

    This is not my first waterpik. It works great, but I think that corners were cut in manufacturing. It's also a nice change from the black.

    This Waterpik container leaks. It's a known issue. The rubber plug doesn't fit well, and it leaks. The upgraded model from this does not leak though.

    poor quality and it dose not have power. I want to order sliver or blue and the store 577 made a mistake. store 577 leadership are never on the floor to help the staff and only care about their bonus after 13 years of being top in sales I was let go over lie's and dealing with a medial issues. The GM is heartless and so is the salesman and HR is no help at all. do not go to Oxford Valley PA
