I needed this because the mount that comes with the wave is awfully cheap and broke when attaching it to my boom. The shock wave solved my issue!

I bought the elgato wave 3 and the elgato low arm which work together without this mount, however with it gives a sleek look to the set up

Works amazingly! I also love how it gives extra tilt adjustment for the mic. Attaching it to a boom arm really gave a much better sound to my Wave: 3. Takes a minute to Mount, since it requires twisting the entire mic, but overall perfect.

Putting the Wave 1 or the Wave 3 on a suspension arm by itself is fine. Shock mounts allow the mics to resist, surprise surprise, shock from movement. A must-have if you're planning on doing intense audio recording and streaming.

I really liked adding this suspension mount onto my elgato. Just got into streaming and definitely recommend this.

This shock mount is fantastic. It is excellent quality and is very easy to install the microphone into. It doesn't pick up ANY vibrations. My old shock mount used to hardly even block out any type of slam or anything that would cause a vibration on my desk. This is a huge improvement. I got it along side my Wave:3 and I am wildly satisfied with my purchase.

If you constantly bump your Wave 1 or 3 this Shock Mount is for you. I do videos and my hand gestures can get extreme. So If I hit my desk or microphone stand this Shock Mount helps. Plus, it gives it a more professional look. This thing is solid and build good. Just as all other Elgato items I have. Have used this for almost a year and have yet to have problems. The shock mount will screw on to any basic stand or arm for microphones!

Like most Elgato products, this item was incredibly easy to install and does what it is designed to do. As an added bonus, I use a Rode PSA 1 boom arm for my Elgato Wave 3, and the shock mount added just enough weight to allow me to use the PSA 1 perfectly.

Had issues with table noise getting picked up in the mic through the arm mounted to the table. This works well to clear some of that out of the audio. Works great with Wave mic from elgato and still allows for you to use their pop filter. It has adapters to fit pretty much any mic arm or tripod so mounting shouldnt be an issue and it gives you an extra joint to adjust mic placement over the stand that comes with the Wave mic.

Good quality. Nicely made and heavy. The pop filter goes on and off easy.

*THIS IS NOT A NECESSARY ACCESSORY* You do not need this to attach to a boom arm UNLESS you are using The Blue Compass or the RODE PSA1 due to the weight of the Elgato Wave 1/3 is not enough to be held in place on its own. It is a very useful item because it reduces small vibrations from your desk or wherever you mount it however it would be more beneficial to buy a boom arm. However if you do buy it you wont regret it. Highly suggest you get it on sale Lastly there are adapters included and you can screw them into the base if you are not using the base so you don't lose them.

I decided after a few months to get the Elgato Wave 3 microphone. This shock mount is very well made and does its job perfectly. No unnecessary noises whatsoever from whatever I'm doing. I'm very pleased.

Super easy to install and a must have for anyone with a Wave mic. Any vibrations from your desk or set up are gone. Elevates the audio quality of this already great mic.

Easy to assemble. Nice looking. I don't smack my mic around often but it definitely makes boom mounting easier and better looking.

Works as advertised packaging was great like any Elgato product. I never had the boom arm adapter with my Wave 3 and this worked perfectly. Also helps with noise coming from you desk from hitting your keyboard or anything else. Also makes you wave 3 looks little more fancy

Adds more weight to my Wave 3 mic, making it easier and more usable on a microphone arm.

It’s a little stiff to really absorb much vibration but the shape and the look of the Wave mic looks silly standard mounted to a boom arm, this shock mount gives it a nice buffer from the arm, and makes a usb mic look a little more professional.
