We purchased this dehumidifier for our basement that is roughly 900 square feet. It was very easy to set up and runs great. I empty the container every one to two days. It also comes with a drain hose that will automatically drain as it fills. It runs vey quiet also. I would recommend this product.

I recently purchased this dehumidifier for my daughter's new house which has an open, unfinished basement. There was a constant musty smell and I wanted to try to dry the air enough to eliminate it. I set it up to drain into a HVAC pump but having an optional built-in pump is a nice feature. The unit is relative quiet for a 7,000 square foot capacity. The controls are easy to use and the multiple fan speeds are very useful. Within 2 days, the humidity had decreased from 65% to 45% and the musty smell was gone. I would highly recommend this product. JL - Plymouth, MA

We live in the Midwest which means of course we have a finished basement and of course we actually spend time down there. It also means we run dehumidifiers constantly. We've been through several, and so far this has been the best value for the large capacity and efficiency. Love that it also has some protection to avoid the water sloshing all over me when I empty it. We plan to use the pump function when we travel.

Living in a condo on the Gulf Coast, humidity can really be a problem, especially during the winter months. I purchased the Waykar CTH150PB after extensive research, and I have not been disappointed. On high, this dehumidifier is the quietest dehumidifier I have ever had, and on low, you hardly hear it running. The pump-out system works great. Waykar is also a great company to work with. I emailed a few questions about the dehumidifier's operation when I first installed it, and they answered them all by the end of the day. Several of my neighbors have seen the dehumidifier in operation and have ordered one. I highly recommend the Waykar CTH150PB.

In Houston, Texas, the weather causes humidity to build up easily inside the house. I could always feel a dampness indoors and knew the humidity was high, but I eventually found out it was at 75%RH. With the intention of controlling the humidity, I purchased several different dehumidifiers through Amazon, but they were surprisingly noisy, so I returned them all. In the end, I placed a Waykar 150-Pint on the first floor and became satisfied with it. First of all, if you are sensitive to noise, please buy this product. Also, this product has an automatic pump that drains water frequently, so it is safe to leave it on even when you go to work. For your information, there are products that can be controlled via an App. Of course, it is nice to be able to control them from outside the house, but the problem is that there isn't much time to adjust them frequently (I often miss the timing). It is actually more convenient and better to just leave it on or set a timer before heading out. The dehumidifying function is also good. Although it depends on the situation, if you keep it on the normal setting, it usually brings the humidity down from 75RH to 50RH within an hour. I recommend this product.

I live in middle Tennessee where we have a sub-tropical climate. I also live in a heavily wooded holler that just loves to trap the excessive humidity. Now up the ante further...10 ft by 20 ft indoor climate controlled rabbitry. Between the climate and anywhere from 50 to 75 rabbits at any given time breathing inside the barn, water bowls, etc., even the 14k BTU AC set at 70 degrees cannot get the indoor humidity down below 80%! Roll in the Waykar 150-Pint Energy Star Quiet dehumidifier. Within minutes, it's working wonders. I literally watch the hygrometer dropping from 80%, down to 70, then 60 and finally just 50% which is what I set the dehumidifier to in a very brief period of time. It's quiet enough that it doesn't bother the rabbits at all (and being prey animals, they spook easily which can be disastrous). It works FAST and it works WELL! Add in that this is an unusual and demanding environment with fur, dander, and copious amounts of hay dust and the filter does an exceptional job at blocking debris. I clean off the filter every morning and every evening when I dump the bucket, often times the bucket is full! The auto shut off works as designed. I do plan to port it out of the rabbitry to automatically empty but simply haven't gotten to it yet. This dehumidifier has been working non-stop for the last two plus months through the absolute worst of our humid summer and has performed very well. I do not hesitate to recommend this dehumidifier and when the time comes to purchase one again, this will be my choice unit.

Never heard of this brand, but it had great reviews. Simple setup and works great! Took the humidity down from 79% to 42% quickly and keeps it stable. The pump makes it easy to set it and forget it. I check it about once a week. Would highly recommend.

Easy to install. Pump works very well. I don't have to worry about changing the bucket, as it drains directly into my laundry output.

This dehumidifier does a great job of extracting moisture in the basement and I am able to pump the water outside the house instead of having to empty the tub every day. Waykar customer service is also great. They helped with an issue and resolved it.

It gets extremely humid in the summer where I live and this dehumidifier has my basement feeling fresh. With the pump I can just let it go its thing and don’t have to worry about dumping it out

A very efficient dehumidifier that really lowers humidity levels in an unfinished basement, so effective that I have to empty it twice a day.

Literally plug and play. Once plugged in, my basement was at or below 45% humidity in less than two days.

my only gripe with this machine is that it has the pump capability but doesn't come with the adapter to connect the drain hose. other than that its good. its noticeably loud, but I keep in the basement so its not a bother at all upstairs.

Decent dehumidifier for large room, bit bulky. Shipped in original packaging, risk of damage in transportation
