ABS and brake light illuminated after a few days. Also steering was effected. Cleared with my OBD II code reader then reinstalled, two days later again the same issue. Definitely something causing my vehicle computer to be effected. Pulled out system and returned to store. Scary! Never had a problem with my car and only 35K miles on it. Ill be looking for a camera that doesn’t plug into vehicle OBD II.

Don't let the price of this dash cam scare you off. It is DEFINITELY worth every penny. The construction of the camera is extremely sturdy along with the other items that come with the product. It was extremely easy to install. Took less than 10 minutes and most of that time was spent deciding where I wanted to hide the USB power cord along the door frame.
The camera and app was easy to setup. Once the camera is plugged into a standard 12v power source (basically what you would plug a cigarette lighter in) it's good to go. When you turn your vehicle on the camera automatically turns on and starts recording in a loop (length depends on how big of a memory card you place in). Once you turn off the vehicle the camera turns off after 10 seconds (this can be changed in settings).
The video quality and sound quality from the recordings is beyond crisp. The old adage of "you get what you pay for" definitely applies to this product. If you're serious about the quality of webcam you want in your vehicle, this is the right choice.

A dashcam on steroids

Most dash-cams capture the images, but this one captures it all. The video is crystal clear, both day and night. What rocks is the connection to the car's OBD2 port, which allows the system to capture what the car is doing. We tune and race cars and this system allows us to fine tune the car and the drivers skills. It's so good we bought several. Highly recommended!

I have been a daily user of the Horizon cam for over a year. The video quality is a step above other cams and is rock solid. It is Quick/Easy to record, edit and post video for my friends. What is most impressive is the vehicle performance overlays on the video and all of the different options. Have used it both on the track and off road and it creates videos as if you are playing a video game. Overall a great buy.

So, so, so easy to setup and use. I used this dash cam in my truck on a 4X4 treck went on, and had my EDITED video up on YouTube before the mud on my truck had even dried. Can't recommend this enough. Well built and easy to use.

Really disappointed

This camera failed me miserably. I was so excited to get it for a two day track event with Mclaren. I got the camera set up and connected to the OBD and was ready to go. The camera connect to the windshield mount is not made for real track driving and at one point came off my windshield on to my dash and almost out the window of my Mclaren. The connection process needs significant improvement and or an additional security measure to keep this from happening.
Now for the real disappointment. The camera didn’t record anything. After shooting a few days of videos and approximately 4 to 5 hours of track time the camera was showing numerous over one hundred recordings; however, none of them would play, none of them had the OBD data and the three or found that would play were 1 minute clips only and not the full video. I am so disappointed this camera is horrible. The customer support was horrible and pretty much blamed my memory card. I am beyond disappointed. If I knew this camera was such garbage I would have brought my GoPro. Waylens used every excuse except faulty technology and a poor user interface that does not work properly. I lost hours and hours of amazing track footage from a once in a lifetime experience because of this horrible product. Their pathetic attempt at blaming everything but their product is unacceptable. I will never do business with this company again.
