These add-on Fun Packs for the new LEGO Dimensions game are a little pricey but if you have a Gamers Club membership it helps out a lot. The mini Shelob build is excellent and Gollum minifigure is a great addition (although there's nothing special about this minifigure as it's the same that can be found elsewhere). Great way to add gameplay plus get LEGO at the same time!

Husband is a fan of the Lord of the Rings. Got this piece for him and my son to play together. Works great in the Lego world especially the spider.

And Need is not necessarily a good thing. There are a absolute metric ton of puzzles that need Gollum's Silver Blowup and Hatch abilities, even in combination. If you don't buy him, you will be spending a large number of studs in game.

My kids have the legion dimensions game for Wii U. They enjoy building ingenue Legos as much as playing them in the game. If you are a fan of Lord of the Rings get this character

Good character that is able to get you into certain areas. Some of the interactions between this character and others are pretty funny, and the spider vehicle is just plain cool!

Wasn't really planning on getting sucked into the lego dimensions craze, but I feel like at this price it is well worth it given how expensive lego is.

Gollum, while a fun figure to own and fun to play, is unfortunately overshadowed by other characters with his unique set of abilities and is not required to own in order to complete the game 100%. He has the unique set of skills such as Boomerang, Silver Blowup, Mini Access and Acrobat that he can use while underwater. Later characters such as Slimer, however were able to do everything Gollum could do with more. Gollum can access the Lord of the Rings Adventure World similarly to Gandalf who comes in the Starter Pack.

I'm a fan of Lord of the Rings and Lego, so this was a must buy. He is a pretty useful character in the game, too.

I really enjoy both the toy to life aspect and the LEGO aspects of these fun packs. Well recommended.

We bought Golem as we wanted access to the tiny hatches in Lego Dimensions. Gimli was the other option. For us, Golem made more sense as he has more useful abilities than Gimli. In particular, we found him useful for these scenarios: * Underwater swimming * Blowing up Silver Lego Objects * Anything with a boomerang style ability like Batman * Tiny hatch access He also comes with Shelob as a vehicle, which is actually kind of fun.

I buy all the figures, especially when on sale. With the gamer's club membership they are such a good deal. I haven't used in game yet but figure is high quality Lego.

I like this character, he can swim. Now we're looking at places we didn't have access to before.

The golem fgure is okbut the arms fall off and the spider he rides is cool but not very original

Another figure set for my new addiction. Gollum brings a different gameplay to the arena, and his accompanying vehicle (Shelob) is fun to ride around on as well.

Bought this for my girlfriend who loves lego demensions.. Great addition to her collection.

Great edition for the game I am a Lord of the Rings geek so I had to have my favorite creep

Lego Dimensions is a great game for the entire family. To access all worlds in the game you will have to purchase fun packs and larger expansion pack. the incredible thing about the game is not all packs have been released so you can continue to go back to the game after finishing the first time and accessing new areas later on. Lego has been very smart with you being able to use all characters in all areas.

Gollum's awesome! He can get into those small crawl spaces other Lego characters can't!

Lego Dimensions is a good product. You will like the Gollum one from Lord of the Rings
