    My hard drive died and I replaced it with the WD 500GB hard drive. It was easy to install and has worked perfectly since I installed it almost one month ago. I have had no issues at all.

    This drive I purchased for my wife to give her a little bit faster speeds than the 5400 RPM drives that HP supplies. I would have gotten her an SSD, however the bigger you go, the more expensive it becomes. So I settled for this for the time being. When SSDs become cheaper, I will replace this with one of those and re purpose this one for another computer

    I use this drive enclosed in a Zhenio enclosure for miscellaneous jobs and transfers between computers. Transfer speeds in a USB 3.0 port average about 60 mb/s reaching 100 mb/s at times. some files will slow to 8-10 mb/s such as a dense video clip. I purchased this to use a an enclosed external backup but really needed 1tb.

    I needed a device that was reliable to backup all my data. This WD SATA drive was perfect. I purchase a USBC enclosure and now I can use this device on multiple PCs.

    My Dell studio 1737 hard drive died after 10 years it was a Western Digital Blue so I replaced it with 2 Western Digital 500 GB Black Hard drives and now my Dell Studio is better than new. Fast shipping to the store, Well packed, easy checkout at the store

    My 2013 Laptop was running super slow, and we just used it for downloading and streaming movies. Now we have more space and way faster. Easy to install; in fact my 10 year old grandson installed it while I walked him through it!

    This replaced a lower capacity hdd in my Lenovo laptop. Installation was a breeze. The laptop has been in use daily with no issues regarding performance. Would buy again if needed.
