I'm a novice when it comes to computer stuff and I didn't think upgrading to a ssd drive would make that big of a difference compared to a conventional hard drive. I was blown away at the the difference in speed with games, in saving and retrieving audio and video files. Pretty significant upgrade. Temps stay preety low too! Kinda cool you can change the led color in the wd app too!

Picked this up on sale to expand my PS5 storage. Really easy to use, took about 5 minutes to get it in and all is working well now.

Purchased this drive for PlayStation 5 storage upgrading. I'm quite impressed. At first I was never going to upgrade the storage becausse I usually only have one or two games at a time installed so space isn't a concern. However this drive ends up edging out the internal storage in speeds and it shows. Even when installing and loading the new God of War Ragnarok game there are seconds of differences in load times that add up to an even more pleasant experience. The build, fir, and finish the the drive is quite nice and it's a good price for an additional terabyte of storage. Finally, for me, there's a peace of mind knowing that IF a drive were to wear out, I'd rather it be the replaceable one over the internal one. I know that's highly unlikely with todays storage tech but it's nice to think about.

This product works as it should and is easy to install. Also you could choose what to store on the card.

Works great. Easy install on ps5. Comes with screws. Heat sink works and it keeps it cool.

Never buy SSD's at retail. Always wait for a sale as there is always one somewhere. The WD SB850X is perfect additional SSD for the PD5. It is easy to install and works with no issues. Just watch the YouTube video on how to install. The only tool you will need is a small Phillips screw driver for the set screw. Always ground yourself before working on electronics. Static electricity is your enemy!

I installed one in a ps5 and it works great loads up really fast than having it on the ps5 memory on my pc i upgraded it from 850 regular not the x and it dont make much of differences but it is a little smoother in real world scenario i guess its just knowing you have the best at the moment i guess

I’ve only had it a couple months, but it was super easy to installand format. Moving games over to it couldn’t have been easier (thank you PlayStation). When playing the games I’ve noticed no difference. So highly recommend if you need space

This is a cost effective way of increasing space in my PS5. Of course, I wonder if I should have purchased the larger size, however, for the moment, it works great and was easy to install.
