I purchased this to replace a failed hard drive in a Dell laptop. It was installed by the Geek Squad and works great. All of my applications and files reloaded easily.

As far as a spinning storage drive goes in 2024, WD manages perfect for mass storage on security system and at a perfect price point. It wont be the fastest storage retrieval but is reliable and comes with fantastic warranty.

bought it to replace the stock toshiba unit in my satellite laptop. simple insertion and bolt down operation. cloned the original to it and going great guns.

WD internal drives are always first rate. Plug and play right out of the box. Popped it into a MacBook Pro, reformatted the drive and installed the OS. Works like a charm!
