I bought this hard drive a few months ago to help with some of the loading screen issues in WoW. I have my OS installed on this drive along with both WoW and SWTOR. So far, it works exactly as expected and has been a welcome speed boost both for loading screens and in regular system usage.

I'm new to the SSD world. I purchased this to replace a failing hard drive. Direct replacement. Works. It is definitely faster and quiter than my old hard drive.

I purchased this to use as a small expansion on an Xbox One S just for a few games that greatly suffer from long loading times thanks to bloated code. So far, it's been great. GTA V, for example, would take at least 2 minutes to fully load from cold start to story mode. Now it's about 30 seconds! Now if only we could just get game developers to stop pushing out bloated code (hey devs, just because we have tons of storage space, that doesn't mean you should fill it!), we'd be golden :)

Purchased this SSD to replace HDD in my lenovo laptop. Works great and I have seen a significant difference in the speed. Important to note, it only comes with the drive, no CD, instructions or any other peripheral. Love this difference in the speed.

There was a bug in the software provided by Western Digital that prevented an easy installation of this solid state drive. The latest software version refused to install on my Windows 10 PC. I had to spend several hours searching the Internet to find a solution which consisted of installing an older version which worked. The bug was known by WD for some time and has not been corrected.

I returned this SSD because I had trouble installing it. Most of the problems stemmed from the inability to get the software to work. Apparently, only the older version works. After all was said and done, I spent hours and did not feel that it was worth it. I did get the drive installed, but it did not improve boot time for my Dell 8900. I believe it was the PC and not the drive that was the problem. Consequently, I returned the PC as well and bought a PowerSpec. It had a SSD included.

Finally moved my OS over to an SSD. Load times have been cut drastically. Only wish I would have bought the one with more memory

Got the drive because I needed to replace my laptop's slow drive (non ssd) with something much faster. This definitely did the trick. My 5 year old laptop feels like new again!

Excellent SSD. Very good upgrade to anything with a mechanical hard drive. The biggest bang for the buck you can make on a PC in my opinion.

This SSD, while not as fast as others, is still a pretty solid SSD. Apparently it is a rebranded sandisk SSD but i have not come across issues.

This hard drive is working great. Computer has since been upgraded to Windows 10.
