Using the Western Digital Blue 3.5" 2TB HDD as backup with a external USB docking station. Has great speed and works seamlessly. Vast storage space for the cost.

I use this for a home NAS server and it works very well. Drives have been working for a year straight with no problem. Works great with true nas and its a good price. No complaints and solid performance.

I already have had one like this for one year now and it has been great no problems so I decided to get another one and couldn't be any more satisfied for the price and the memory/speed it gives well worth it

Needed it after a HDD failure in an older desktop so shop wouldn't upcharge me to replace it. Can't tell much so far except that it works at the same level as the old one.

The WD - Blue 2TB Internal SATA Hard Drive for Desktops is a great drive to add to your Desktop computer or to put in an external drive case, once you get one you'll probably buy more.

This 2TB hardrive, WD20EZRZ, is $65.99 online. https://www.bestbuy.com/site/wd-blue-2tb-internal-sata-hard-drive-for-desktops/5638716.p?skuId=5638716
The same drive in the store was $79.99. They gave me $5.00 off but would not honor their own price.

I needed a larger boot disc to run my PC. the BLUE by western digital was easy with the help of free software. I have loads more space for additional programs which seem to take up more space as time goes on. Faster than the old 5400kb/sec.

This is my third 2TB green drive (which the "mainstream" drives are, once you take them out of the box) and all of them have been phenomenal. After suffering through multiple failures from other brands, I've made it a point to only buy WD drives when I'm purchasing for myself (to clarify, I mean that when work buys me drives, I can't help if they buy me a Seagate that fails in a year, but if I have a say in the purchase, I only buy WD.) I bought this drive to go into an external enclosure that won't support any sizes higher than 2TB, so I was limited on my size choices. Unusually, the store did not have any of these on the shelf - plenty in the back, just none on the shelf - so I had to find a salesman to help me track them down.
I have one of these drives as a primary on my home media server as well and it performs flawlessly. The drive itself is about 3-4 years old and it's not so much as hiccuped. I can have 4-5 simultaneous streams running off the server and it never has an issue.
Bottom line: if you're in the market to get a hard drive, you can't go wrong with Western Digital. If you need a drive for storage or streaming, and heat/noise are concerns for you, or simply cost, this drive is a great option.

My computer recently crashed and since I couldn't recover the drive, I still needed to recover data. So I needed a new system boot hard drive. This one is solid top to bottom. Good brand, WD, good price, good capacity size. I was up and running the same evening, so it's dead simple to install and use. Great product.

I bought this as a replacement for the 1TB Seagate hard drive that goes with my NVR . Installations was simple and easy. The 2TB memory capacity is more than adequate to provide for a 24/7 video monitoring. It is also reasonably priced. I give it a five star overall rating for meeting the requirements of my five security cameras at home.

Bought this because we need to consolidate some other hard drives, and you can never have too much space. This hard drive was priced well, easy to install in our desktop PC, and performs great so far.
