Needed to replace a 2tb data drive in my PC. Searched through the various options available at Best Buy, and this turned out to be the best bang for the buck. Its fast enough for direct streaming of movies, and at this price point you cant beat it. Easy to install, and moved over my data in about an hour.

Being familiar with Western Digital and the quality of their products, when the need arose for a 6TB drive without hesitation we bought this. It is only available online as there were none in the stores close to our home but free shipping makes it a no-brainer.

It's perfect, if you want to install lots of games. I have about 150 games on it, and there is still plenty of room left. Plus, it works well with the fastest Geforce card.

Everything went as advertised, there were not problems from the box though installation and setting up.

I'm tired of running out of disk space and deleting thigs to make room for new stuff. I have a growing collection of large FLAC music files and I have a box full of disks that I've outgrown. I bought the WD Blue 6 TB so that I won't run out for a while. The formatted capacity is 5.45 TB. I wanted a drive that was quiet, fast, and large. I listen to music sitting 6 feet from my computer. I can't stand a noisy computer in the background. This is a very quiet drive. Normally I don't hear it at all. I can hear it when it seeks around to build an index, but even that is quieter than my previous disk. The disk is fast enough for my purposes which is to provide storage for a music server. My previous disk was 7200 rpm and this one is only 5400 rpm. When I measured the time to build an index there was no difference between the drives. The drive I received had less than a year left on its warranty. I mailed Western Digital my proof of purchase and expect to get the full two years.
