Installed in my laptop easily. Software for this drive is on WD website. I highly suggest you get it after you install and can see that drive. The software lets you move/mirror everything from your primary drive to this new drive. Windows itself was difficult to use but the software on WD website for this drive is great, super easy to use. My windows are now running a lot faster and everything was easily moved to this drive with WD software. I have a new primary SSD and no loss of data during the process. Super!

Super easy install. Amazing how fast a system boots up from an SAD drive.

I quickly learned that the 32gb hard drive on my Lenovo Ideapad 100S was not going to serve me as well as I'd hoped. This 250gb upgrade was very affordable, easily installed and makes my laptop function the way I intended. I still store most everything in the cloud but have capacity onboard when I need it.

This upgrade was simple to install. My only small complaint is there wasn't a mounting screw included. Since installation it has performed flawlessly.

Amazing how fast startup is from an SSD. Definitely reccommended.

This is my first m.2 SSD so I don't have much to compare to. I installed this as the OS drive in my laptop which offers an m.2 slot for SSD. The 1TB mechanical drive it came with I relegated to storage. My laptop boots and operates much quicker with the OS running on the SSD. It seems this is becoming the standard. WD is as reputable as any SSD/HDD manufacturer and offers a good manufacturer warranty. The price was the same everywhere I looked at this drive, so that was fair, although this appears to be an item that Best Buy rarely, if ever lowers the price on, so it may be a good idea to look for a price match somewhere else if buying from Best Buy.

Did a clean install of Windows 10 on to an HP Omen 2017. i7-7700 and 1050ti stacked with this was blazing fast. Love the drive for the price.

This was the boost my laptop needed. Loads windows in seconds. Install was super easy as well. The only gripe that I had was that the packaging didn't specify that you had to go to western difitals website for the software to use it.

Well worth it. Computer boots much faster and was worth the price.
