This is a very affordable and great option for anyone looking to upgrade their laptop or desktop storage. I don’t have a PS5 but I believe you can even use it in the Ps5. Read speeds reach upto 3500 MBs, which is really good for this price. I installed mine into my gaming laptop for additional game storage. I exclusively use mine for storage for my steam and Xbox Gamepass games. I upgraded from an older and slightly slower SSD and I noticed quicker load times for Destiny 2, Halo, Fortnite and Rocket League. Those are the main games I play on my laptop but I think it’s safe to say that this drive could load any game you throw at it quickly. Just a couple of things to note is that, it doesn’t come with a mounting bracket, screws or a heat shield. So if you plan on picking this up, be sure to look at your hardware ahead of time and pickup anything else you might need to install it. There isn’t much to complain about with this SSD, I would recommend it to anyone looking for an affordable and fast SSD. I can’t speak about long term reliability yet, as I’ve only had it installed for about a week, but so far it is working for me perfectly.

One of the best things you can do for your PC is upgrade the main drive to use an M.2 SSD. I believe all motherboards these days support them. Even laptops. So if you're looking to speed up productivity, load/save times, transfer speeds, etc. Then getting an M.2 SSD should be at the top of your list. This WD SSD has proven to be a very capable SSD. One thing that did surprise me was how... uncluttered the PCB is. There's the main memory chip, the controller and that's about it! Very simple design and layout. I installed it as a spare scratch drive to test for Photoshop/Maya/ZBrush. And so far it's been the perfect addition to my normal work flow. I also downloaded Western Digital Dashboard which allows me to optimize and maintain the drive. I think I will probably end up getting the 2TB version as well. The more the merrier. If you're considering M.2 SSD drives, then I would highly recommend the WD Blue SN570.

So far been good. Not the top of the line but works for what i need and good value for the price. Used this to upgrade from an older version of this drivr. So Expecting this to run for along time just like all the other wd blue drives i have.

When it's on sale, its a solid nvme ssd for storage of games and files. It's not gen 4, so not compatible with the ps5. But for any pc that uses an nvme port, this would be a solid option as an upgrade.

I had a 2TB WD SATA SSD and it got corrupted within 4 months with over 1tb saved. I switched to this NVME SSD and it’s amazing. I’m a gamer/game Developer and going with these are better than a SATA. Using this 1TB WD blue for backup on smaller files instead of my 2TB WD blue main storage.

Great read and write speed, good capacity, easy to install and the provided software for transferring your data from old drive is great. More than a year using it as my main drive in my daily laptop, still great.

WD makes some of the best SSDs on the market, and this drive is proof. Super fast and reliable. I've owned many SSDs from multiple manufacturers. WD and Samsung are my top two when I want the best of the best with ultra reliability.

A good less expensive M.2 SSD. It stands for being a good standard of what a fast SSD should be. There are definitely faster SSDS, however, if you're on a budget, this is definitely for you.

I used this ssd in my sons' Acer Nitro 5 gaming laptop. It worked excellen it is so much faster. I recommend the wd blue sn570 if your on a budget build it works great.0

I really needed more space, luckily this SSD gets the job done. It's fast and smooth. The installation was easy however I didn't clone my drive first though.
