Case is meant for small portable, external hard drives. When opened, one side has a pocket to hold any small cables, wires needed for connection, usually usb or sata and the other side has an expandable band to hold hd in place once case is zipped closed. I own 6 of these cases, one for each hd ranging in capacity from 1tb up to 3tb

Perfect product for the desired need.I was looking for a carrying case that would protect my external hard drive. This product was built perfectly for the dimensions of my hard drive. Perfect fit, at a reasonable price.

Because I go to client sites and/or travel in general, I looked for a safer way to carry my portable hard drives. This is one of the solutions I found and it really works. Of course, you need to make sure your portable drive will fit in the case but, given that it does, this case provides excellent protection.

I take our WD 1.5TB Passport external drive with us on trips to back up photos. I'd been putting it in a backpack essentially unprotected. The drive and connecting cable fit just fine in this case and makes me breathe a little easier that our backup drive is better protected.

I found this case by accident when I was looking for something else. I would recommend the case for college students who are likely to carry their external hard drive around campus with them. It provides a little extra padding to secure the hard drive.

Got this on sale for $11.99 this thing is great durable and padded enough to keep your drive safe. I bought a cheaper WD case for $5 at target although it does the job it offers very minimal protection. For the price and quality can't go wrong.

Excellent protection for traveling with external drive. Have all my music and pics on a 3T drive that is a must to keep safe (yes, I have backups but you want this drive to work if you're traveling with it & want access to your music or photos!)

This product is essential to protect your drive. I have already dropped my drive and had it not been in this protective case I am sure damage would have occurred. The case is made well and offers good protection.

This carrying case is a great case for protecting your hard drive on the go. The inside has a soft lining that will protect the hard drive. It also has a inside pocket to carry the cable. Great protective case for your hard drive!

Picked this up for my WD Passport and it fits snug and great inside this carrying case. It has a soft almost suede type material on the inside to protect your hard drive from scratches. There is even a small net inside that is used for a mini pocket where you can store maybe a couple SD cards or for whatever you might want to shove inside your case along with you WD Passport. I also love the durable material that it has its overall a high quality carrying case and worth your money!

It is a much needed accessory to purchase along with the WD Passport Ultra. It is tough & durable to protect your external hard drive from most elements/situations. It is also convenient for easy access/storage.

I like to protect my external hard drives and flash drives. A firm case does the trick. I’m also less likely to lose my drive. I do wish there was a color choice for visibility. A lot of people will like the elastic ‘hinges’ that keep the case from flopping fully open. Personally I plan to cut them off so I can open it to lay flat.

If you buy a portable external hard drive this is a must have. It is as simple as that, it is portable and you are going to take it places you have to have a good case to protect it and this case does it.
