This drive stores all of my iTunes content, so I needed it to be capable of large capacity and fast speed. This drive does both for a reasonable price. Highly recommend.

Great hard drive. Lots of space. Can be shucked and use internally or kept in its shell and used as an external. Cannot beat the price per TB when it goes on sale for 179.

Just purchased this to replace a 3tb on my pc. I Have had no issues with it and have put about 6tb of data on it. So it has seen its share of use. Only time will tell.

With 4K video creation, video files are getting bigger and bigger. This 10Tb should fit my needs for a few years I hope. Overall, great system, easy to install and use.

Got this item as part of a black friday Deal. For its price I cant go wrong. Came in handy to store all my other data that didn't require fast read speeds like Documents and photos. For a device that is hidden under my desk I didn't care much for its looks. Only down side I can think of is that I might have trouble filling it up with stuff. I bought it because it cost less than the 6TB that I was planing to get.

Great value for the money. Almost infinite storage for backups, data, etc. Works well with both Macs and PCs. Nice little perk including the USB flash drive.

ALOT of storage for a good price this is a very large amount of storage that can easily be added to any system via usb usb3.0 provides decent transfer rates

Great drive for storing large amounts of data. The drive displays 9.09 TB on Windows so Windows users should be advised that they are getting 1 TB less than advertised (due to differing definitions of 1 KB = 1000 or 1024 bytes). Despite the drive being rated USB 3.0, the read and write speeds will be near USB 2.0 speeds (around 10 MB/s). If you're buying this drive, you should use it for backups and other types of data storage that you'd rarely access. For data you frequently access (such as playing PC games), you should buy a portable SSD drive instead.

I just got this drive a few months ago and it has done everything that I need. I am pulling off drives on older Mac Pro with 5TB of photos and video(and movies from old iTunes)... very quite and fast enough for transfer times... OS only limitation of speed, not drive... I would recommend so far...

This is the best hardrive I own. HUGE space and it's just plug and play so anyone can use it. It also doesn't take up much space on or under the desk.

More storage than I'll ever need. It's like my own personal cloud. All my pictures, videos, music, books, apps, and it backs everything up. So easy.

I got this for black Friday for $180. So it was a great deal for the price. It is like any other external drive you get these days. It's advertised as 10TB, but once I got it hooked up and the drivers (auto) installed, it actually holds 9.09TB. This is still massive for the price, and came with a 32GB USB stick that I put on a new TV also purchased on black Friday (it serves to allow rewind/playback on the new tv). So far I've managed to put about 2TB on it. Setting it up as a seedbox basically, so still have a lot of room and tons of storage. I've only been using it for about a month, but so far it's worked great, and is outstanding. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because it says 10TB, and you get closer to 9TB. Where I'm used to there being some difference, .91TB is quite a large difference. Still well worth the price, but I wish they would be real about how much you actually get, because it seems like it is borderline false advertising the way they do it now.

10TB is just enormous and can allow you to consolidate many smaller HDs. But realize that you are, indeed, putting your eggs in one basket. So either buy another and use that one for backup or perhaps organize what you put on this drive into logical folders and use some good backup software to duplicate it to multiple smaller HDs. Either way is okay as long as you -do- the backup! Note that I'm not implying this is an unreliable HD; rather that having all your data on one drive (and nowhere else) is just criminally stupid behavior.
