Easy set up and works really well especially for the price. Goes on sale pretty often. Only gripe is it didn't work with my PS4 but that's due to limitations on the console not the Hard drive itself. Definitely recommend!

Whether you're buying this for external storage or just to shuck, you can't go wrong at 10TB when these go on sale. I bought one over Black Friday, loved it, and wished I'd bought another. A couple months later it was on sale again for the same price so I picked up another. Nothing comes close for the price. Both drives worked flawless out of the box. Also the 32GB USB stick came in handy when I needed to install an OS a new drive.

It will take a while to fill this up. I shucked it and used it as an internal on my desktop. A little more expensive per GB than the 8TB but I like the 10TB as it will be a tad more future proof. Transfer speeds are fast.

I have been involved in the computer industry for over 50 years, and I am still stunned with the volume of storage that is available for consumers. I am basically able backup ALL my computing devices AND keep multiple images. Because this attaches to your computer via USB3, basically your backup time is only limited to your HDD's access time and the file fragmentation. The enclosed 32GB USB3 flash drive is a nice gift too.

I couldn't believe the storage capacity for the price. And being usb makes it extremely easy to use.

This WD EasyStore 10TB External HD is exactly what I was looking for, and needed. I've had it up and running for almost a month now, and everything seems to be operating in top form. I don't find the noise to be boisterous at all. In fact, quite the opposite. This drive is stored in my bedroom and neither my wife, nor myself has ever noticed an issue with the noise output. Drive performance is exactly what I expected so far!

This external hard drive is very easy to setup and offer more than enough storage for personal computer backup. The software suite that comes with it make it easier for normal user to perform backup tasks.
